    Why the cross actually saves

Then why did Jesus take away our past sins if nothing happens?

    Why the cross actually saves

What if we commit sin after Jesus already took away our sin.

    Why the cross actually saves

Good, that is true. What happened to us when Jesus took away our sin?

    Why the cross actually saves

What is the main thing that sprang from the blood of Jesus into our New Covenant, that the Old Covenant couldn't do?

Why Was Cain’s Sacrifice Rejected by God?

Yes, another one of those sayings that Satan loves to use: "Did God really say..." Then in presumption Cain would have wanted only his works recognized, not in combination with Abel's.

Why Was Cain’s Sacrifice Rejected by God?

No, God sacrificed the first clean animal and shed its blood while Adam and Eve were hiding in the Garden of Eden after eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. That is where the skins came from. Adam and Eve would have continued the practice from the teaching directly from God, and...

Why Was Cain’s Sacrifice Rejected by God?

Under Moses we see offerings of grain and drink and whatever crops they had as firstfruits, but there were also clean animals. It was never without a blood sacrifice for sin. So you are right. Cain could have sold some of his produce to Abel to buy an animal to complete his offering and...

    Why the cross actually saves

You two are agreeing on a false accusation against Grace. Shame on you both.

    Why the cross actually saves

Prejudiced? Is that how you see it. I don't. There are two sides to Paul's story. We don't hear Peter's. I see Peter between a rock and a hard place. He did not separate himself from the Gentiles after Acts 10, but ate with them. But when he brought in Jews that were not free of Mosaic food...

    Why the cross actually saves

Imagine that! Two Reformists agreeing with each other. “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch?

    Why the cross actually saves

Think about it. Just as the same people that received the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 and spoke in tongues as Mark 16:16-18 says, and therefore could not commit willful sins because of the seed of the Father, the same as Jesus, those same people received a second filling in Acts 4:29-31 for ministry...

    Why the cross actually saves

Which kind of "sin" are you referring to when you say Christ overcame sin? There is a type of sin Christ was incapable of, just as we are incapable of committing if we have the seed of the Father. So what other type of sin is there that needs to be "overcome"?

    Why the cross actually saves

I can relate to Hebrews 5:8 because even though I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the seed of the Father, and became born again in 1977, there were parts of "obedience" that needed to be perfected in me. That came through suffering for 12 years.

    Why the cross actually saves

Actually John the Baptist was born with the indwelling Holy Spirit, but it wasn't his role to do anything but prepare the way for the Messiah through his preaching repentance.

The Flawed Reasoning Of Total Depravity

There are also other reasons you may not have thought of that the Trinity has supplied. 1. It was the Tree of Knowledge of GOOD and Evil, not just evil. 2. The Trinity has given gifts. Romans 12 shows gifts from God, the Father, to mankind, and one is the measure of faith. We must choose...

    Why the cross actually saves

Us, no, but to the Jews Jesus was preaching to, definitely. Jesus was conceived of the seed of the Father, therefore he couldn't sin. When we are born again of the Spirit of Christ, we also receive the seed of the Father and cannot sin. 1 John 3:9.

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

That's the point! There are many believing they are saved, but going to hell.

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

Not everyone is a prophet. And from what you are saying, you are definitely not! What you are now describing in the last days will be demonic supernatural phenomena from psychics and witchcraft, haters of God, not lovers of God. The testing of the spirits have to do what they believe about...

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

Wouldn't it be sad if they were real, but like the scriptures say, you didn't know what you were saying? So you threw them away like a piece of trash.
