    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

Just imagine an early church member citing the OT to prove he was saved because of claiming a verse for himself! Back then they were called religious actors...charlatans. Yes, it was the Pharisees. They said they were disciples of Moses. But Jesus said...that Moses would reject them. And we see...

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

I see where you get your religious logic from...but that is NOT your true spiritual condition. You are pretending something is true by reading a book. If you read the bible you will see that nobody was pretending in the early church. I have a thread on dogmatic certainties. It's a pathological...

    Is Any Denomination Saved?

People are indoctrinated to believe any number of things....but that doesn't make it real or true. Who cares who thinks they are saved? So what? You can believe your head is a dishwasher...or that you are really a flying squirrel. There's a lot of that spirit going around these days like with...

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

It's easy to explain things away by holding onto the idea that you are always spirit filled...and everything has to point to that idea. But in my experience and from the bible a person who says they are always spirit filled says so from a doctrinal position with no evidence at all besides a...

    Is Any Denomination Saved?

Actually the statement fits your lopsided doctrine. You believe that God imputes righteousness to unrighteous people so that works or is consistent with your error that God is unable to judge righteously.

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

The new bottles are new hearts. A heart that is disposed to grace. The old heart was disposed to the law...but from an outward imposition. Grace brings the laws inwardly. This has nothing to do with being in the Spirit or not.

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

OK...here are some times whereby a person is cited in the bible in the NT with being filled with the Spirit...and both times they saw into heaven with supernatural sight. Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus...

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

OK I'll do it. Jesus likened the spiritual life to rivers of living water flowing out of the belly. So there is a flow of eternal life in the one who is filled with the Spirit. It is a miraculous provision with outstanding effects on the people all around. When the life of God is flowing out of...

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

That's the problem of trying to make a universal truth out of one verse...when so many other verses go against that. All this means is that the people Paul is speaking to either have walked in the Spirit or are walking in the Spirit. But this doesn't mean that someone who reads about that in his...

    Is Any Denomination Saved?

Again and again...no one is saved before the end. Otherwise what is the point of having a race? There are winners and losers in the salvation race. One must first finish the race or be disqualified. Then one is judged by what kind of works were done...whether of the Spirit and eternal...or by...

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

So what does the OP mean by Spirit-filled...and what does saved mean to the OP? I think the problem begins right there.

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

The forum allows for people...who have not thought through what they are trying to get across...but rather repeat an idea that has not been fully apprehended...and then try to teach that to others. This would not be permitted in any real life meeting. But it's a free country. :)

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

This makes sense to you perhaps? But rather than trying to say something FROM your understanding...just lay out what causes you to write such an incoherent statement. THEN we can be constructive. I find your reasoning so far off...that the radar no longer tracks... ;)

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

Nobody is saying the Holy Spirit comes and goes. But we are the ones who come and go. We enter into the Spirit...but only as God permits. We need to be in line with His Spirit.

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

When you talk as if you know something...you sink...fast. But when you question things...then it is possible for you to look at things you have not yet considered. So I'm not writing you off...just trying to filter through your misshapen theories.

    Always Spirit-Filled Or Unsaved?

But that's not the point. To be filled with the Spirit one needs to go where the Lord is selling/granting it. You need to also abide IN Christ...not just Christ in you. The Christ in you is about learning maturity. Going to God and being filled is about holiness and purity...NO sin.
