Ok......Sooooooo what "paganism" did Constantine introduce into The Church? And when the Holy Spirit departed, where did it go? According to your theory the gates of hell prevailed against The Church in the 4th century. According to Scripture the gates of hell will not....well, you know the rest.

Really????? Fascinating....The Holy Spirit told you that? Did the Spirit tell you which church is The Church spoken of in Scripture? Or did it only tell you which one wasn't? I would think it would have told you which one it was if it told you which one to avoid.

Ummmmm.....I don't see anywhere in that quote where it says that The Church teaches that "those who depend on Christ alone through faith for salvation are to be condemned to hell". Is it on one of the specific canons you quoted? I can't find it.

    Who founded your church?

Ummm....I have been to both Protestant and Catholic churches that served "wafers" for communion. Neither of them where chalk wafers. What denomination did you go to that served a chalk wafer?

Yup, there are doctrinal differences on salvation. So what man's interpretation of those passages do you adhere to?

LOL...Pope Francis didn't rule against ordaining married priests in general. What you have quoted are in regards to the situation in Ammonia. As I have already told you....THERE ARE MARRIED PRIESTS.

Ummm....I already told you that not all priests are unmarried and celibate. Do you have any intentions of correcting your false belief? But to go in line with what you just said Paul said it best when talking about celibacy and he called it a gift from God: I wish that all of you were as I am...

The REAL Baptism in Acts 2

Hi EG, Glad to see we can agree on something. Unfortunately some don't believe this!

    Who founded your church?

The silence is deafening. Have you no answer? No comment? No evidence for your false statement? @Paul Christensen

Ok....thanks for that statement. Are you going to answer the question?

The REAL Baptism in Acts 2

Why was water baptism continued by the early Christians?

Really? Can you share the quote from the council of Trent document that supports your belief? Here’s a link: https://documentacatholicaomnia.eu/03d/1545-1545,_Concilium_Tridentinum,_Canons_And_Decrees,_EN.pdf

Yup....You said that. You also said “The Holy Spirit taught me that the church is invisible.“ Sooooo is that the only thing that the Holy Spirit taught you?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Soooo let me see if I have your theory correct. The Christians who practice the 2,000 year teaching of water baptism are what you call in a derogatory way a “water cult”. Sooooo what does that make those of you that deny water baptism? Are you called the anti-water cult?
  17. Marymog

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Scripture asked the question: Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized...??? The answer is YES, Behold can withhold water, and make fun of those that get baptized with water and call them a “water cult”. To teach that water baptism is not necessary is truly a teaching of the...

Fascinating....Sooooo we should only go to YOU for enlightened on what Scripture TRULY teaches...
  19. Marymog

    No authority!

Ok....I agree with you. The Holy Spirit has the authority to point out false teachings and be the “only arbiter and final judge” on sound doctrine. Sooooo how does the Holy Spirit let man know who is to be treated as a pagan or tax collector? You are trying to take man out of the equation...

Is the church necessary for salvation?

I agree. So that means one isn’t saved once they start believing. They have to continue to work out their salvation with fear and trembling. If they finish the race, they are saved. So if they lose their faith they are no longer part of The Church.
