I do think 1 Corinthians 11.26 is significant: our service for Lord, as we remember Him in the Lord's Supper, is while looking back to His death, and looking forward to His coming. In the meantime, we by His grace continue to serve Him in Gospel testimony.

Hi @Goldie75 Maybe they are designed with the assumption in mind that several passages may be pursued during the same period, and hanging down they make it easy to keep going back to the passages....

"Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to Thy Cross I cling", etc.

@soul man It's indeed not entitlement that counts but taking heed to the Word of God. John 17.17.

Hi @atpollard Good point about Romans 14. It's when ppl start making day observance a rule for others that it becomes problematic.

@TLHKAJ For some Christians it's more as a personal reminder that they go get inked up with a faith based tattoo at the parlor. (This for example would be what @Ziggy recently stated would be her reason for doing it.) For others it's for a witness tool; all the young ppl that I have talked to...

@TLHKAJ Tribulation in the believer's like is not unusual, right? but we also have the precious promise in John 16.33 that the Lord Jesus has overcome the world.
