What does the Bible say about when Jesus Christ would return?

I do think 1 Corinthians 11.26 is significant: our service for Lord, as we remember Him in the Lord's Supper, is while looking back to His death, and looking forward to His coming. In the meantime, we by His grace continue to serve Him in Gospel testimony.

    Bible Ribbons and bookmarks

Hi @Goldie75 Maybe they are designed with the assumption in mind that several passages may be pursued during the same period, and hanging down they make it easy to keep going back to the passages....

@soul man It's indeed not entitlement that counts but taking heed to the Word of God. John 17.17.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

From back a bit: @atpollard source: shrm dot org Well, actually, these days genteel people of a certain maturity in business may also be inked up; it really isn't unusual, is it?

    SDA question

Hi @atpollard Good point about Romans 14. It's when ppl start making day observance a rule for others that it becomes problematic.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@TLHKAJ For some Christians it's more as a personal reminder that they go get inked up with a faith based tattoo at the parlor. (This for example would be what @Ziggy recently stated would be her reason for doing it.) For others it's for a witness tool; all the young ppl that I have talked to...

    Having Hard Time

@TLHKAJ Tribulation in the believer's like is not unusual, right? but we also have the precious promise in John 16.33 that the Lord Jesus has overcome the world.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@michaelvpardo Like @Ziggy indicated, ppl's personal experiences are going to differ, right?

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

PS: @Ziggy It's interesting that DaveL even regrets NOT having gotten a faith-based tattoo, years back: Dave L said: People's individual experiences are going to differ, aren't they? Some ppl regret their ink. Some ppl definitely don't. It's inevitable, I think, right?

    What constitutes penance!

@Ziggy There is indeed a big difference between Romans 2 repentance and so called penance...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

PS: @michaelvpardo I'm sure you know all about the various issues. It's actually not unusual for ppl with tattoos to back and have existing work touched up where the ink has faded a little. (It's almost a fairly standard practice with a lot of veteran tattooees.) All the young ppl with whom I...
