This three pounds of flesh between my ears is very limited. It was God that chose to separate Saul from his mother’s womb. So Saul doesn’t confer with flesh and blood, he flees into the outer regions away from the garden travails in birth waiting to give birth to this man child, that the serpent...

I believe Adam in an allegorical since is Jesus, and eve is the church of the first century, the woman. See I believe that the begging of Gods creation started with the first man born of God, the first to literally receive the Breath of Life was Jesus. Adam/ the man Jesus Christ.

I guess the problem I’m having is,,, I’m reading that old scripture as God being the one that did the separating, but this doesn’t fit the character I’ve come too see portrayed by Jesus the image of the invisible God. It’s as if Jesus is implying in the New Testament scriptures that it was man...

@Mr E I see no reason as to why the God that Jesus displays in the first century would separate Himself from them?

    Misunderstood Concepts--- Atonement

I’m beginning to believe that all this time I’ve been grabbing the low hanging fruit, and I’ll never get the good stuff unless I am also lifted up.

The stars are the twelve tribes. Genesis 37:9 KJV And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Where do you believe they were to follow Jesus too? As of two days ago I now realize where the cross led too- crucifiction of the flesh. Paul said I am crucified with Christ. He even got a new name.

Have a look at the 19th psalm? I believe God discloses what the heavens are. I see an allegorical reference, almost as if I’m seeing what literally took place in the first century. In the epistles Paul eluded to the running of this race the bridegroom going out of His chamber.
  13. Waiting on him

    Misunderstood Concepts--- Atonement

For the last couple of years I’ve seen the beginning of Gods creation as beginning with the birth of Jesus- the man Jesus in the Jordan where John baptized him. He received the breath of life/ Holy Spirit. This was very unique in that he was the first born of God. The beginning of His creation...

It’s a hard thing to grasp. Jesus tells them to take up their cross but why. We’ve been told it was once for all?

I see it now! John 13:36 KJV Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. It’s the weirdest feeling that comes upon you in an instant.

I’m gonna need a while to process all of this.

Sorry in advance for the short answer, but the truth of it all is that, God doesn’t require blood or sacrifice. It’s much more painful that than that. He requires that we love unconditional.

Galatians 4:28-29 KJV Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. [29] But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Paul defines for us what a MAN in the first century church was. Ephesians 4:13-15 KJV Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: [14] That we henceforth be no more children...

Do you mean like Judaism was how they identified themselves with god? Maybe what Jesus was referencing as their mother and father was simply their cultural narratives or their national way of viewing god? This would somewhat make since, and Jesus being their blood-born rightful anointed of God...
