What if Jesus when he made that statement hanging on the cross was already in paradise/the bosom of the Father? Just something to think about

According to the apostle John Jesus was already in the bosom of the Father.

I believe it is a story he is telling of himself. The reason being is that in the account in Genesis Lazarus is the first servant in Abrahams house.

I prefer the story told of Lazarus and Abraham in Genesis. When I try and analyze the story told by Jesus in the first century. Looking at it through the information given in Genesis gives me a greater perspective. Since this debate is about time- maybe a good place to begin?

You state that Jesus is telling you that you will hear of wars while totally over looking the fact that he’s telling the four disciples that he is having the conversation with, that they will in-fact hear of wars and rumors of wars? How do you turn this into a conversation that he’s having...

In my opinion the scripture declared the trumpets sounded and the walls of that stone building fell, just as in Jericho. They didn’t sound six trumpets and the the last Two thousand years later.

So I’m still uncertain as to what position you hold, did all the trumpets sound or is it yet future?

The way I see it is the world in scripture is referring to the Judaism practice going on in the age that Christ was in. They had their religious buildings and their religious practices. I would would say that the church today is merely only a mirror image or a play act of what has already occurred.

I thought the reason God gave His son was because He so loved the world? I guess I get confused sometimes when God asks us to do opposite of Him.

Could it be that Jesus and the prophets were claiming something that didn’t follow their agenda?
