    Once Saved Always Saved

I abhor their rejection of Scripture, their "reassignment" surgery they perform on It, BUT I have seen that many of them know God--and in many cases BETTER than anti-OSASers. We should learn from them--while fulminating their errors.

Just to clarify, I despise the OSAS doctrine. It's not my doctrine.

Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

I don't think you know what that means. As Paul warns 1 Corinthians 10, the Jews were also "saved by the blood of the Lamb", and were "baptized", and yet with most of them God was displeased so they fell under God's wrath in the wilderness and never inherited the promise. Now, according to...

    1. I am not sure I would agree satan can't be seen. Other angels have manifested themselves visibly, so why couldn't he? 2. Yeah, actually, I will do a lot more than insinuate : you are erring, and you will know that in time.

Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

So, in other words, you have no place in your life for Christ's teaching that eternal life is a repayment for good deeds. That's fine, but don't lie to people and pretend I invented it. Be a man, stand and face the truth. Don't invent lies. Yeah, you are "done"--your position is indefensible...

Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

Yeah, the "reward" is eternal life. LOL Stop pretending Romans 2:6-7 isn't there. Oops! Paul is castigating the Jewish Christians in the Roman Church who are looking down their noses at their Gentile Christian counterparts because the Gentiles lack the physical lineage from Abraham, the...

Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

I've already refuted this, you can respond to it when it pleases you. 1. You realize there are more than a couple passages in Romans 3 and 4 that address the issue, right? 2. You must not have read God's Words I referred you to. I will cite them here for your enrichment and correction ...

    Once Saved Always Saved

That's exactly what I mean--thinking that people who see things differently cannot know God. You'll understand that that isn't the case. Yes, their inability to correctly understand is flabberghasting but that is separate from their knowledge of God.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Well, I think if you spend a little more time in Scripture you'll come around. LOL

    Once Saved Always Saved

Wouldn't those Jews' having converted and believed in Messiah already have offended the "ultra orthodox" Pharisees? LOL We know how Paul felt about his fellow Jewish believers before converting.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Well, I've seen great fruit so I'll have to respectfully differ. Begging the question--"full of evil" is an assumption I reject because they go to Christ the very method of righteousness under the New Covenant. How are they unrighteous then?

A user by the name of "Osiris" will "teach" us Christianity. LOL!

    Once Saved Always Saved

    1. There is a "falling away" which puts Christ to an open shame, and from which there is no recovering, but there seems to be a "falling away" from which there is a rebounding. It may be a matter of degree, but both have to exist since both are taught. It says of the Hebrews to whom he wrote...

    A restatement of my point--thanks.

    Once Saved Always Saved

"False doctrine" has to produce bad fruit--OSAS (in its noblest form at least) is incorrect but not "false" as in "damnable". No, OSAS does NOT of necessity lead to lawlessness--as I've explained, inasmuch as they teach people to "go to Christ" (the entire purpose of Scripture) John 5:39-40, and...

    Once Saved Always Saved

I do not have a high opinion of their idiotic disrespectful mistreatment of Scripture but I do have a high opinion of God and the grace He gives them.

    Once Saved Always Saved

OSAS is your way of getting to the point where you trust in God; many who do not hold to OSAS have trouble getting to trust in God, but that doesn't mean they're wrong about OSAS, it just means they have trouble dealing with all of the Scriptures (they don't just dismiss certain ones).

@Corlove13 Christ is the faithful Israelite who God needed to fulfill His promises to Abraham and his descendants to bless mankind.

    Once Saved Always Saved

All OSASers believe they follow good Scriptural reasoning--they don't.
