The Law is Established by Faith

Odd "coincidence" that--you got "bored" at the same time you were thoroughly debunked. "Coincidence"--yes, nothing more than happy "coincidence".

The Law is Established by Faith

    I'm tired. Anything I don't have to do I won't right now.

The Law is Established by Faith

If you are just agreeing with me I have no obligation to correct your myriad errors. Good night.

The Law is Established by Faith

Nope, the Greek for "under" means "under the jurisdiction of"--and, besides, if we granted your definition, then we'd have to apply the same to the "under" in "under Grace", which would render us "underneath, as in a prison dug down with Grace as the prison door above us" and that doesn't work...

Homosexuality Is An Affront to The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob

Edit : My intention here is merely to prove that homosexuality actually is a sin (some people deny that it is), and that we can and should therefore call anyone who claims to be Christian to repentance. I do not deny that a Christian can fall into the sin of homosexuality--that would be...

The Law is Established by Faith

    1. Paul had to respond to an obvious objection : "Oh yeah? You're nullifying the Law and Its righteous requirements? False prophet! You're leading us away from God! God is testing us! Deuteronomy 13:1-11!" That is an obvious thought anyone will have--"If we are not under Law, doesn't that mean...

    Attraction

If you can "forget" the definition of fornication... I don't know what you are thinking about but it needs to be more Biblical. Of course God helps. That's what Christianity is about--God helping us to be holy and blameless.

    Attraction

You don't need any more information--you know what to do. You know fornication (sex with boyfriend) is a sin I'm sure. You're just playing games.

    Attraction

Christianity teaches there is nothing to "decide" but to be faithful or else you face God's wrath. Again, God detests immorality and adultery--it makes Him furious. You need to stop playing games.

    Attraction

I don't think you really appreciate what Christianity is about. Christianity teaches victory over self through God's graciousness.

    Attraction

    Are there any what?

    Attraction

If someone is finding themselves attracted, I guess they should get married. That's the end goal of attraction.

Sorry for this topic... is masturbation a sin?

Your eye doesn't have the propensity to have sexual thoughts. Looking with lust means you are looking and imagining lustful thoughts at the same time.
  15. GracePeace

    Attraction

Be free from perversion, and enslaved to purity--God despises immorality and will destroy the immoral.

Planning on getting a new Bible today. Is the KJV necessary?

I'd listen to a debate/presentation on the subject to inform myself.

    Attraction

If we are going around constantly being attracted to others clearly there is a problem because that is not "freedom" from self and slavery to righteousness.

Sorry for this topic... is masturbation a sin?

Yes. In the context of a condemnation of the sin of adultery (including imagining), what the hand does is condemned--this could refer to nothing other than masturbation. Matthew 5 27“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28But I say to you that everyone who looks at...

The Law is Established by Faith

Another user had a difference with me on Romans 3:31, but it wasn't the topic on that thread (the topic was whether or not Christians had to serve by the Law), so I created this thread to discuss the meaning of the phrase. Just a quick skim through of the thread should satisfy any further...
