    Put on the New Man

Even though Monergism is idiotic, in many cases I think people would be better off as Monergists. LOL

The old image of redemption and the new.

You do hold that Christians are "not under Law" Romans 6:14 don't you? Am I understanding you correctly?

Forgiveness is to those who keep the commandments of the Lord.

Well, I don't think anyone is 100% correct--we all say some things that are correct and some things that are incorrect.

Forgiveness is to those who keep the commandments of the Lord.

I'm not offended by your KJV-onlyism, I think it's kind of funny LOL

Forgiveness is to those who keep the commandments of the Lord.

I really appreciate you bringing out that clause from Psalms, though, because, yes, I had noticed "I lay my life down for my friends... you're my friends if you do everything I tell you". So good. Thanks!

    WHERE IS TRUTH?

It is incorrect to say "Jewish Christians... kept the Mosaic Law", especially as if the fact that some Jewish Christians erred, and still lived "under Law", was somehow a definitive statement about Christianity : Paul, a Jewish Christian (and an authoritative apostle), was "not under Law" 1...

Forgiveness is to those who keep the commandments of the Lord.

I really love this, however, I would add that the New Covenant is a Covenant of Grace with a Law of faith--hence the phrase "obedience of faith" Romans 1:5. Don't disregard receiving grace through the obedience of faith, which grace is the method of righteousness today!

God Destroys Righteous Ones Who Fail to Endure and Shrink Back

I highly recommend NASB and ISV. An ISV translator guy was on The Line of Fire Radio broadcast and he seemed super humble--he took issue with translations lacking nuance, and so failing to be faithful renderings. The long and the short of it : I'd take a gander at the ISV.

    The Galatian Suppositions

    1. I've already addressed the issue of not eating with Gentiles and it being a matter of keeping the Law and it not merely being a tradition or custom--you are erring by conflating what was done here with what was denounced in Matthew 15:9, according to what I've already shared--you can go ahead...

    Reformed "Justification" Analyzed and Dismantled

These are notes from "Protestantism's Big Justification Lie". It doesn't mean I agree with Catholicism (over and over, the presenter, who is a Catholic, asserts that by disproving "Reformed" justification, he is proving Catholicism is true--that is not so, since Catholicism isn't the only...

Whoever Has Sinned Against Me I Will Blot Out of My Book

Yet another dynamic of life before the God of Scripture for which Calvinists are powerless to account. Exodus 32 33The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me I will blot out of My book." Revelation 3:4-5 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their...

God Destroys Righteous Ones Who Fail to Endure and Shrink Back

The citation of Hebrews was the ESV I believe?

God Destroys Righteous Ones Who Fail to Endure and Shrink Back

Some of God's righteous ones, alive by faith, shrink back and so are destroyed instead of inheriting the promise. Hebrews 10 36For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37For, Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and...

Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

Only doers of good will be paid with eternal life at the eschatological judgment. Matthew 16 27For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Romans 2 6God 'will repay each one according to his...

    Once Saved Always Saved

Yeah, like the Calvinist ignorance that the 99 sheep are "the foreknown, predestined, elect", and the one sheep that goes off on his own is also "the foreknown, predestined, elect", and so the "Good Shepherd" goes and finds him and recovers him because "Jesus can't lose any of the foreknown...

    Once Saved Always Saved

    1. Paul had to rebuke the Corinthians for sinning--a lot! 1 Corinthians 5 says a man was "intimate" his father's wife. Hm... is that a sin? He also said the entire Church was implicated in it because they cheered it on--according to Romans 1, they were worthy of death for approving of what God...

    Once Saved Always Saved

I would recommend keeping in mind the same verse says "if we deny Him He will deny us". It is important to note that men may deny Him with their works--"they claim to know God but deny Him with their works"--hence why Revelation 3:1-6 states that those who have defiled their garments are...

    Once Saved Always Saved

I don't think I've ever used the phrase "repent from your sins to be saved". Yes, stick with the Word--I know, it's an unspeakable heresy isn't it?
