Can a Christian have a demon?

As an aside check this out a humourous look at the difference between men and women's brains called "the nothing box."

Can a Christian have a demon?

It is a fact. There is no need for the enemy to attack a person who is not advancing spiritually. So that's why so few people understand the kinds of attacks that are possible. They walk in the realm of theory...having no practical experience of the spiritual walk. It is unsettling at first to...

    Ageing

There's an old proverb that says that an old man sees further when seated than a younger man standing up.

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

Flying above the law is related to grace and flying with wings as eagles as Isaiah said. I find that there is no experience of the things of the Spirit as mentioned in the bible among those who find what I write bizarre...so people only understand things by rote using bible verses...but...

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

Yes! But grace frees us to fly above the law...thus fulfilling it's righteous requirements. The problem is when grace is seen as an abdication of the responsibilities we have to be obedient to the will of God.

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

The opposite is true. Without law you become lawless. Grace fulfills the law or else it isn't grace but permissiveness. God is not permissive. Those who gamble on this will have a huge surprise on judgment day. Grace is the power to fulfill the law.

    Truth

IOW...a paper book....but no actual knowledge of the living God. Formulating an opinion based on a choosing of doctrinal positions invented by men....is not the same as eternal life in the Spirit which is according to the truth....the truth who is the living word of God. The letter kills but...

Can a Christian have a demon?

Your word "genuine" has a meaning that you are giving it. Can genuine Christians sin? What is genuine? Are there genuine sinners? Can someone say..."that was a genuine sin"? I think you have unrealistic and idealistic notions that stem from your view which is not experiential...but merely...

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

You are confusing a spiritually apostate church which is devoid of spiritual life and functioning, having very zealously religious people ....with a lack of church attendance. Just because people are sitting in the pews doesn't mean they have experienced life in the spiritual sense.

    Truth

The truth is found in Christ. We can only know that truth by entering into Christ. We know we have entered into Christ when everything becomes new...a new power, light, love, and a deep joy. The truth is that God is love. We discover that love when we enter into Christ....truth. There is another...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

In the end, you can't talk someone out of a delusion. Otherwise that person wouldn't be delusional.

    Famous quote from Habakkuk

    Whose faith?

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

But as I said and am forced to repeat....you are mistaken in your reading of the text. Faith upholds the law which is written on the hearts of those who are born again by the Spirit. There is no need to abolish the law of gravity for birds to fly. Likewise there is no need to abolish God's law...

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

You are obfuscating here. Is this thread about 2 Cor. 3? So you are going sideways rather than forward. If you are unable to discuss the OP...just say so. ;)

When is 'Speaking in Tongues', true versus false.

But not a biblical view. Dave, you are always comfortable with labels...preferring the seeming simplicity of a man-inspired label to the perilous quest for truth.

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

Again...do you mean Judaism or sinning? No, we are not to be religious. And yes through grace we have the power over sin. Grace fulfills the law of God. In Christ is no sin. So when we are in Christ we cannot sin.

    Conversion after death

...to be judged by God at the judgment. Why do you always add in your own opinion and judgment? We do have the bible. God decides our fate after death. Heb. 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

Can a Christian have a demon?

And a dead guy is buried in the ground. But people who are seeking God can cry out to Him...they who seek Him with all their hearts will find Him. THAT is biblical...and the truth.
  19. Episkopos

Can a Christian have a demon?

No. People call on the Lord TO BE saved. If a person is drowning and calls out for help....is that because they are NOT in trouble?

    42. Are We Free to Ignore God's Law if We are "Under Grace"?

It's the works of the law that are abolished...Judaism. Judaism is the effort to religiously fulfill the law. No man can fulfill the law of God by trying hard in their own strength. It takes a higher law to overcome law. I have said this many times....but I don't think it is understood. The...
