    Righteous is as righteous does.

So what you are saying is that you are latching onto the invisible things while the visible is pointing another way, perhaps? Reality has nothing to do with faith?

We really CAN'T answer some of these

Even if God has chosen us first....we must still also choose Him. Didn't Jesus also choose the rich young ruler saying to Him...follow Me? Yet the rich young man did not choose to follow Christ. So then we must choose Christ. We must choose to obey Him, follow Him, love Him.

    Righteous is as righteous does.

Are all the sheep of Christ, Christian believers? No. And neither are all Christian believers His sheep. The truth is not delineated by human considerations and labels. How much of what people think is just vain human understandings? But we will all be judged by our deeds...what we do. Take...

    Righteous is as righteous does.

Is this thread a rabbit trail away from religion? Is this thread not a drawing away from rabbit trails of error back onto the path of life? While it seems that God is religious and that Christianity is a religion...it is not so. Christianity is an anti-religion. Christianity is based on truth...

    Righteous is as righteous does.

I would like to point out a guide to truth spoken by Jesus which is never quoted because it is so little understood. Mat. 10:41 Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a...

    Righteous is as righteous does.

In this thread I hope to challenge the lack of good sense in so many of todays false doctrines. These false doctrines are insidious and dangerous in that they are invented in hell...and are meant to do the people of God great harm. The problem is so great that the truth will appear as strange...

    Righteous is as righteous does.

Let's look at the nameless prostitute who wept before Jesus and washed His feet with her hair.....yes, THAT prostitute. Notice that Jesus says...she is forgiven because she loved much. Who loved much? She did. Her love is what moved Jesus. Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which...
  8. Episkopos

    Righteous is as righteous does.

Now this statement may appear to be easy to understand and accept....but in todays religious anti-truth quagmire...it has become unacceptable. So then this is a good place to examine the distance that so many have fallen away from the teachings of Jesus. May this examination lead some people to...

    The Law

When Paul mentions the works of the law he means Judaism....or any religious dogmatic system that has no life in it. Take modern Christianity...it too has become a dead religious form. People prefer dead forms that seem to give a semblance of security to a living truth that they can't get a...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

There are differences of course between The Catholic system and the Protestant system. The main difference is that in the Catholic system, it is man deceiving man. In the Protestant system, it's the other way around.

Are Pastors Teaching a Watered-Down Gospel?

Yes...house church. The best thing is to find other seekers of God and journey with them.

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

Or to the degree we respond. But many walk away and seek to continue their own lives on their own terms having become convinced that their eternal welfare is taken care of. A very Protestant attitude. Being born again is receiving Christ in us...a potential that needs to be opened up into...

    Does God have Free Will?

Whatever God decides IS good. There is no good above God and His will. There is no Christian morality.
  14. Episkopos

    Dead Faith???

Keeping His works till the end is the requirement of the saint. No one gets a reward for stopping the process of sanctification.
  15. Episkopos

    The "In Christ" Doctrine

There's what God does...and then is our response. Kind of like an Asdic ping trying to locate a submarine. The response is a ping in return. So we return God's love...IF we are responding. We are meant to grow into the likeness of Christ in character. THAT is salvation...to be as Jesus in...

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Actually, it matters what God thinks. Have you considered God in your equation?

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

I, personally, have never had an abortion, nor been the victim of one. The fact is that abortions happen. What are we to do with those who do abortions or have them? How can we stop sin from happening in the world?
  18. Episkopos

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Who is the final arbiter of what we happen to agree with? Does it matter what we think? Or is God the One in control....so that we can let Him judge when the time is appropriate? Our focus should never be on how saved we are....or not. We are to seek the Lord. Salvation is in Him at any...

Street Preacher cries out: The soul who continues to sin will die

As someone who waits on the Lord and has no confidence in the flesh or the modern teachings that please the flesh.

    Has anyone changed their mind...?

Actually it's 10 cubits square ...which makes 15 feet square (the holy of holies). The temple in Jerusalem doubled the size...but the importance is that it is a cube just like the New Jerusalem.
