Workers of the flesh will not inherit eternal life

That's not correct. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world as John says. Believing about Jesus and what He did doesn't do anything...we are called to have faith in God to do AS Jesus did.

Workers of the flesh will not inherit eternal life

This is why we are called to the death of Jesus....to His cross. The POWER of the flesh is dealt with by the power of God so we can live by grace....in HIS life and walk.

Workers of the flesh will not inherit eternal life

Quite the scheme you have there. This is the false gospel of course. Salvation for the flesh. And who decides who is part of this lawless scheme. Why the person who believes in self-justification...that's who. As in...I'm not responsible for what I do. It's that pesky flesh YOU created. So...

    Living Faith

Theory and good intentions always gets in the way of reality. The truth about us is that we need to go in and out to learn to have character. If the earth had no gravity we would have no strength in our muscles. If we were always in the Spirit then we would never learn to have faith without...

The Little Book of Rev. 10

People stumble over Jesus. The flesh cannot grasp Him and what He does...His judgments. They nare offensive to the flesh. Mat. 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. And one of the only statements about disciples in the OT concerns this very thing. Is. 8:13 Sanctify...

The Little Book of Rev. 10

Getting back to the parable of the sower...what is the stoney (rocky) believer offended at? Well things are not as ideal as he first thought. Jesus didn't promise us an easy life...but the power to overcome it. So then what is the shallowly joyful believer really offended at? Jesus. The...

Revelation 8:1-5 silence, half hour, earthquake ??

It could be the timing of the event vis a vis the spring or the fall. Yes....I'm talking of the time change....Spring: One hour ahead Fall: One hour back Just to get everybody's clocks synchronized.

    Living Faith

If we sin a sin according to death...then we fall out of the Spirit (grace). Read 1 John. If a person is trying to perform by the law...Paul says he has fallen from grace. But you are always thinking of salvation as something you own.

    Living Faith

You are not understanding salvation. Salvation is not found in us....but in Christ. And we come in and out of the Spirit. Like breathing in and out (in the macro sense). John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Your words...

    Living Faith

In the Spirit there is no sin. But it is difficult to remain in the Spirit. There is no one around us that understands and encourages us. No earthly environment to help the spiritual walk...no church. The struggle with the flesh means you are walking by your kind of faith...not the faith OF...

    Living Faith

Nobody survives in grace by trying to milk the initial grace for their whole lives. As soon as you sin (that eads to death) you lose that grace and must go back to God for a new filling. We tend to leak out grace at first. Then we learn to treasure God and treat Him less familiarly. It's what...

    Living Faith

The Christian walk is a movement WITH God. As such we cab easily fall behind...or move to fast and go ahead of Him. God speed is the best speed we can live and walk in. :)
  13. Episkopos

    Living Faith

This is an easy one. Do you believe that Jesus is without sin? Do you are abide in Him who is without sin? or do you follow a sinful Christ? If we abide in Christ we don't adhere to a perfectionism belief...we LIVE His perfect kind of Life through our location...which is in Him. Our perfection...

    Living Faith

Is the grace initial because we inevitably fall from it? We are given a taste of divine life. We experience what it means to be alive in the real eternal sense(if we have really been born from above). Then we are tempted to come back and live in this world as any other person...as we once did...
  15. Episkopos

    Living Faith

People have to figure this out. Either Jesus has sin in Him...meaning we can abide IN Christ and still sin...OR In Him is NO sin and we are safe there as a refuge from the things of this world which are of sin. But you can't have it both ways to the advantage of the flesh. If we sin it is...
  16. Episkopos

    Living Faith

A person with beliefs doesn't need a living God. The belief or imagination is held onto by the power of the flesh. But a living faith doesn't work unless God is alive and brings His peace...
  17. Episkopos

    Living Faith

A person who walks in their beliefs is walking with a confidence in the flesh and their 3 pound brain. A person can have NO beliefs but instead walks by faith in God. So then a living faith only states in the moment what God is doing and saying. There is no static belief. A Christian is to...

    Living Faith

Then that person is not religious but a seeker of truth. Faith begins in doubt and exercises doubt in a healthy way. Faith seeks the truth. Belief thinks it already has all the truth and resists everything that doesn't already line up with that way of thinking.

    Living Faith

You have fully misunderstood the gospel my friend (of). Grace is the gift of the power to walk as Jesus walked. It is NOT a license to sin and get away with it. We believe in God who justifies people from all parts of the world. The ungodly are the sinners of the world...and other religions...

Workers of the flesh will not inherit eternal life

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. Being under grace gives us the power OVER sin...otherwise we are still under the law. Our hope is walking in the resurrection power of Christ to walk AS HE DID on earth...which is by grace through faith.
