Revelation: The Seven Churches and Angels(messengers)

John first writes in (Rev. 1:4), "John to the seven churches". He records what was told him by the glorified Christ in (1:11). "What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches...." The book of Revelation can be divided as (Rev. 1:19) indicates. "Write the things which...

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

Sooooooo, do you think David went to Heaven? Stranger

The Roman Church is the one to which you belong. Just like you answer to the Roman Pontiff. I belong to the Catholic Church, as all believers do. And there is no such thing as the Roman Catholic Church, because that is an oxymoron. Moron. A fitting term. Every born-again believer is part...

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

Who are you to say because they lied to the Holy Spirit, that they lost their salvation. There is nothing here to indicate that. Stranger

Rapture is not in the Bible

Yes, I am serious. Give the Scriptural reference of what you are asking and explanation of your question. Well, if your work was prepared for you to do...then do it. I'm not going to do yours for you. Stranger

Your explanation was empty. You whinned and wined about not knowing nothing of a 'Roman' church. And you didn't call yourself 'Roman Catholic'. You only called the Church Catholic and yourself a Catholic. But, I educated you on what your Church really is so now you feel like you need to...

Oh...now I see. You always knew this was so but just didn't want to say anything. Sure. So, yes you belong to the Roman Church. It likes to be called the Roman Catholic Church, but that is wrong, because that is an oxymoron. All believers belong to the Catholic Church of Jesus Christ...

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

Physical death can be a judgement from God against the believer. But it isn't a loss of salvation. And, we will see Ananias and Sapphira in heaven. Their judgement was physical death, not eternal. Nothing says you have to drop physically dead. But you will die from the judgement God...

    What are your theological viewpoints?

I adhere to much of the Calvinist position, but not all. I would probably be described as 'evangelical'. I am Dispensational, and premillennial. Stranger

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

No, you are assuming it is spiritual death. It is not. It is a physical death. No Christian can sin a sin that separates him form God. He can sin and rebel to the decree that God will take him home, physical death. Stranger

Wonderful Truth of the Very Near Rapture (Catching Up of All Believers)!!

EricaAnn Welcome to the forums. I hold to the rapture also, but haven't really entertained the idea that it was at the next Feast of Trumpets. I believe I have read others on the forum who have mentioned the same thing though. I do believe your observations of the current political...

Hillary Clinton wants to become a preacher

And what message would Hillary preach? Would she say there is only One God and one way to God, faith in Jesus Christ. Would she talk about how Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins? Would she mention how the blood of Christ is the only cure for sin? Not hardly. No, her...

Rapture is not in the Bible

I didn't say anything about the elect being Jew or Gentile because it wasn't necessary. Until those who are elect, be they Jew or Gentile, come to Christ in faith, or exercise believing faith, they are lost and need to be saved. And the rapture plays no role in effecting that statement...

Rapture is not in the Bible

Being chosen is just part. Again, just because one is elect does not mean he is saved. He experiences the new-birth only when faith is placed in Christ. Be nice if you give the verse. The elect you are speaking of are those who are elect and have been saved. Stranger

Rapture is not in the Bible

Again, one can be elect but lost. Until the one who is elect places faith in Jesus Christ, he is lost.

    Guardian Angels.

I believe we do have guardian angels. Angels are very prominent in this work of salvation that God is doing. They are very much part of the spiritual warfare that is taking place. As Decopymope showed in (Hebrews 13:1-2), they can manifest themselves as people and you may have, or probably...

Rapture is not in the Bible

Just because you are elect, doesn't place you in a saved condition. Because you are elect you will be brought to that saved condition. Till then you are lost. The 144,000, though elect, were not saved at the time of the rapture. Stranger

Why take purse, scrip, and sword?

VictoryinJesus The disciples were to now take these things which before they were not to take. This was because there was now going to be a change in the message and in Christ's literal physical presence among the disciples. Before the message was 'the kingdom of God'. (Luke 9:1-2) "Then he...
