    Why can't God count?

Jude didn't say anything about the 'generations of Adam'. That is important in Genesis, yes. But Jude says the 7th from Adam. And how is Enoch the 7th from Adam, when numerically he is not? Stranger

    Why can't God count?

Again, you don't include Adam in the count. It is the 7th 'from' Adam. And you ignore Abel and Cain and his descendants. Stranger

    Why can't God count?

Well, again, you don't include Adam. (Jude 14) says the 7th from Adam. And you ignore Abel and Cain. Genealogy is not the subject. The 7th from Adam is. Stranger

    Why can't God count?

I can count. (Jude 14) says the 7th 'from' Adam. That means don't count Adam. And you need to include Abel But, you also need to include Cain and his line. Stranger

    Why can't God count?

To all who responded, Cain was the first born. And Cain had children also. Enoch was not numerically the 7th from Adam. So, why does God call him the 7th from Adam? (Jude 14) Stranger

    1 Cor. 15:45-47

Well, I have an opinion on these verses that I have considered over the years. I am open to others input. Yes, we who are born again were in Adam and are now in Christ. But, Christ is not said to be the 'Last Man', as you said. He is the 'Last Adam', and the 'Second Man'. Why? Stranger

    1 Cor. 15:45-47

Of course I can understand basic numerical references. And that involves the answer to this question concerning these verses. I am asking because though I have an opinion concerning these verses, I am interested in others, because this question has intrigued me for years. Stranger

Where did God come from? - The answer to a frequent question

See, you believe. Then know. All men know God exists. God tells us this. (Romans 1:19-20) They may say they don't but God says they do. That doesn't get them saved. But some believe God and what He says and come to Him believing the way of salvation He gave. It never really is a...

Where did God come from? - The answer to a frequent question

Let me just ask , how do you 'know' Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour? Stranger

    Why can't God count?

Abel could not be listed in (Luke 3:38) as he did not begat anyone. I believe you are right concerning (Gen.4:25). It has to do with the line of Seth. Still, there is Cain and his line. Cains sons would be born during the same times as Seth's sons. And if you just count Cain alone, then...

    Why can't God count?

ScottA I know God seldom uses women in the genealogy's. But even in using the men, Enoch is not the 7th from Adam. Stranger

    Why can't God count?

(Jude 14) says Enoch is 7th from Adam. But he is not. What is the deal? Error, mistake, what? I know...spiritualize it. Make it say whatever you want. Stranger

    My two cents

When you say one is 'left' or 'right' you have to place it in the historical setting. What is 'left' in one generation maybe 'right' in the other. Take the American Revolution. If back then you were for the revolution, you would have been left. To be against it, you would have been...

    Fate vs. faith

Says 'you', concerning offspring. What I did was show you that 'offspring' speaks to being created by one blood. Now you move into the spiritual interpretation with nothing. No verses. Just your 'spiritual' opinion. I know those two passages speak of the same 'world'. Look it up. I...

Where did God come from? - The answer to a frequent question

You make such contradictory statements. You say you do not believe in the existance of God yet you say you know God exists? Sorry, I lost total interest in your article. Explain it to me here what you mean. Stranger

    What is Truth?

Indeed, you are right. There would be no benefit for you in debating. And I offered to you to name the subject. But, yes, you would not benefit from it. Yes, you are big talk. I want no part of big talk. I will, however, contend with you where I believe you are wrong. Fighting and...
