Jesus gave a parable about 2 sons. One said he would do what his father asked...but didn't. And the other said he wouldn't...but did. This is the kind of thing you can expect with human beings.

I think you are looking for vengeance...and trying to make God out to be sadistic. We tend to read our own understanding into the word.

You are making something very simple to be very confusing. What you are thinking of is a religious affiliation. God is NOT religious. Which denomination does God belong to? How about Jesus? Do you know who you are talking about?

Of course hell is eternal. But the people in it are dead. Try to stay honest in the discussion. Don't play word games.....and you might learn the truth.

Don't confuse issues. It doesn't say...God will have mercy on everybody...but you won't like God's ways. He saves non-Christians too. Religious snits ensue.

So then many non-Christians will indeed be saved...through God's mercy based on the finished work of Christ. See...it has nothing to do with works or beliefs. It is ALL God.

Most biblical verses on the subject confirm the second death kills the soul. So then Annihilation is the way to go. There is only one verse that suggests an ongoing torment in hell....for the worshipers of the beast.
