    Come together, and enjoy Sgt. Pepper's music appreciation thread.

    @Pearl I remember going past Wembley when Status Quo had just been performing at Wembley Stadium.

    COULD LACK OF COLOUR BE A FACTOR IN DEPRESSION?

    @Pearl There is something about natural light, yes. Over here in North America, New York City and Los Angeles are sometimes each known as the City that Never Sleeps; in other words, ppl on the go at all times, often little sense of the natural distinction between night and day.

    COULD LACK OF COLOUR BE A FACTOR IN DEPRESSION?

    @Pearl From another perspective, my wife does not feel properly dressed when going out if she does not put on her face...

    COULD LACK OF COLOUR BE A FACTOR IN DEPRESSION?

    @Waiting on him @Pearl I think Erin Hanson's colourful paintings are displayed around US Embassies around the world; I seem to remember reading about this.

    Was Jesus a spirit being before coming to earth as a human?

    IMHO it's futile to keep up a dialogue with those who might try to deny God in Three Persons, when in fact there is overwhelming evidence for this wondrous truth in Scripture.

    @VictoryinJesus Wonderful passages there...

    Pulling Down Strongholds

    @Wynona Such a lot in Psalm 119....and not only because of its length...:)

    What was Apostle Paul's outline he used when first presenting the Gospel

    @Wynona Logic can be helpful but it's really good to get the reasoning process directly from Scripture; and as you rightly say it's the Holy Spirit that coverts (1 Peter 1).

    Encouraging verses

    @Cachalot What great chapters are Romans 8 and Ephesians 6! :)

    Please Pray for me to make an important decision.

    @Heart2Soul I'm sure you keep pouring your heart out to the Lord about her (Psalm 62.8).

    Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

    @Heart2Soul Just thought you might appreciate this: ellidhcook dot com Hosea 2.14: "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her."

    Hosea 2

    @Heart2Soul YW...

    Hosea 2

    @Heart2Soul Ties in also with Romans about a future for Israel. Good to distinguish between Jews, Gentiles and the church of God (1 Corinthians 10.32), but what an amazing demonstration of lovingkindness and patience on the part of the Lord, as demonstrated in Hosea!

    Hosea 2

    @Heart2Soul You might find this link useful, with Scripture references to check out: Israel The Wife of Jehovah | Precept Austin NB: I don't know what the author's overall doctrinal stance is.

    Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

    Read the previous one. We are not communicating adequately; and I suspect will not be able to do so from Scripture.

    Hosea 2

    @Heart2Soul I find Hosea to be among the most deeply moving books of the Bible; the sheer patience and lovingkindness of God, demonstrated through the prophet, for an erring wife whom the prophet was to be willing to take back to himself. What a glorious picture of the redemption that there is...

    Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

    No, no and no.

    Preaching is for the unconverted

    @Christophany I like the 'continued steadfastly' in Acts 2.42... :)

    Understanding the Trinity.

    @Christophany The truth of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is so vitally present in Scripture and there is overwhelming evidence for it, indeed.
