    Sola Scriptura 2

Hard to think that the Lord Jesus in John 17.17 "Thy word is truth" was supposedly referring to a mixture of the Word of God and religious tradition...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@soul man Like you say, I can see some Christians going confidently and even urgently to the tattoo parlor in order use this means to proclaim truth while the day of grace is still here. Like, this probably drives some ppl's desire to get inked up, right?

    Truth about the Flesh

@MatthewG Ephesians 6's ref. to 'the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God' seems to encapsulate the need for Spirit-led activity in the Word.

@Rita I've heard it said that at 15, a teen thinks that one's parents know everything; at 20, thinks that one's parents know nothing; and at 25, thinks that in the past few years one's parents seem to have learned a great deal...

A Christian woman with the tattoo of an ex-bf's name (e.g., "BILL") might be regretted, but she might well have it changed to "BIBLE", or something that she doesn't regret. Ppl can move on from their tattoo regret.
