Abiding In Christ Necessary for Eternal Life

Yet they want to make it about us. Not about them. The hatred of the jew even in the church blows my mind.. Even if they were not chosen for a purpose. God tells us to love everyone..

Abiding In Christ Necessary for Eternal Life

John makes this clear in his first epistle they went out from us, but they were never of us, for if they were truly of us, they never would have departed. But they departed to show they were never of us.

    What is "OSAS"?

I can think of a few reasons, 1. We don’t actually teach it, but in places like this we have to discuss it because of the many who think savation can be given back or lost. 2. In a discipleship setting, We need to discuss it because the Bible says it is the root, or the hope that is in us, and...

is everyone who says they are born again, born again

Amen we are even told to confess our sins to each other. I think this is important in a discipleship setting. We were never meant to be couch christians or try to do it on our own. Jesus sent even his disciples in two es.. We need each other. And a helper.. Satan wants to take our hope away...

is everyone who says they are born again, born again

Taken from another thread @amadeus said Are there any who believe they are born again who are not? My answer No I do not believe so. I am sure Judas thought he was born again. Just because someone claims to be born again does not make it so. I know many who think so yet they continue in...

    How far must we go..........

Um No, Jesus did not The endure to the end quote is about the tribulation period. And it is physical life. Not spiritual life that is in question. And who continues not? the saved? The people made new? The people who are born again? or the people who Never came in the first place (like Judas)...

    How far must we go..........

Amen! Thats why we should continue to run the race, and never think we have made it. God always has things for us to do. We never know when our time is up and we are done

    How far must we go..........

Many use that passage to prove salvation can be lost. It is not for that. it is descriptive of ALL who are born again. Thats why we need to post the whole thing.. Many will come and use their good works and say that is why God should let them in. Jesus will say depart. HE NEVER KNEW THEM...

    How far must we go..........

Be careful to post the while conversation. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he whodoes the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have wenot prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and...

    How far must we go..........

You can;t share discipleship wiht the spiritually dead. They could not understand it they must be shared the gospel first. They firs must be born again

    How far must we go..........

After one recieved the spirit. And are assured that their eternal future is set in stone, and they have no worry about ever falling from God. Then the person needs to find a more mature christian with which to start a discipleship relationship with. Satan will try to attack the new believer...

    What is "OSAS"?

Don’t feel bad, When I first came into a chat room many years ago. I was suprised at non catholics who did not believe in eternal security, when I questioned them I saw I was being told I believe things I never have believed. It took awhile. But I finally saw it was basically an Armenian/calvin...

    What is "OSAS"?

Calvin teaches that we do not come to christ, Christ choses us, we have no say in the matter, That he chose some to saved, and he chose some to not be saved. There is no free will. If he elected you. He will regenerate you so you can believe, then you will believe and be saved.. if he did not...
