    Encouraging verses

@Marvelloustime So we can confidently keep sowing the seed, right? :) "Go, labour on, Spend and be spent, Thy joy to do the Father's will, It is the way the Master went, Should not the servant tread it still?"

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Heart2Soul So what do you think of this picture? in dot pinterest It's what Christian young ppl do now, so often, as girls become adults and boys become men, and this person, as a demure young Christian seems just to radiate a fresh thrill and confidence as she emerges from the tattoo...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Renniks Clearly it's not, either, with a lot of Christian young men.

The trinity explained through special relativity

Hi, Sir; @Heart2Soul posts some very thoughtful ideas and is committed to Biblical truth; the fact that various comparisons are made does not necessarily make one deceitful.

@Mantis You have the skills, right? Did you ever see this short video about a Christian tattoo artist? I was particularly struck by the young lady's comments about Romans 8; and it seems from the short video that as Christian young ppl get inked with faith based designs, some moms are kind...

Please pray for my mental health

@GodsBeloved11 With the suffering, God also provides remedy for the believer; this may be through a combination of meds and prayer. the comfort of the Scriptures and fellowship.

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Yes I indeed agree about imputed righteousness by faith. You would have enjoyed a conversation my wife had with a friend of ours after church a few years ago. My wife: I see you can still walk in your six-inch heels... Our friend: Six inches? these are seven inches... :)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Before the First World War, a lot of women seemed to wear really floppy dresses and really wispy hairstyles. After the First World War, these styles seemed to be a bit impractical and so many women had nice bob cuts instead. (They would be the great, great, great-grandmothers of...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

@GodsBeloved11 "one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4.5-6)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Nearly 40 years ago I attended various local church baptisms by immersion and it was a widely established custom then, as now, for some young men to wear earrings. These would have included some of the young men being baptized then, who might now be in their 50s or approaching 60s.

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

@GodsBeloved11 Amen! :) Acts 4.12: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

@GodsBeloved11 That is simply the Hebrew version... :)

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

@GodsBeloved11 Acts 2.41 shows that those who were baptized were believers already: they showed their faith indeed by becoming baptized in obedience, rather than try to become believers by being baptized...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@GodsBeloved11 Probably a majority of the young men and boys that have come to the small, conservative local church that we attend have had earrings put in, anyway...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

@GodsBeloved11 Believer's baptism as per Acts 2.41 is indeed Scriptural. :) I like what the hymn says: "No longer shall sin have dominion, Though present to tempt and annoy." Romans 8, with its precious, powerful promises, contains a lot of strength for the believer, I think.

@Addy May God bless your niece; ink or no ink... (Replied here because it was topical, I guess...) Well, exactly...
