Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Truman On the other thread, @Addy said: Addy said: ↑ I take your point, @Truman, about the BMW guy; there's also the other side: it's kind of nice to see young ppl, typically inked up as they are, wanting to honor God with their lives.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Truman Some ppl hesitate to have it done in case they live to regret their tattoos, but this is anyway not what various posters here have said; I've recently been talking to @Ziggy, for example; this is how various ppl seem to feel about their ink: Rita said: ↑ FHII said: ↑ Ziggy said:

    Ephesians 6:10-18

@Heart2Soul I think part of the key is the Spirit Who indwells each believer crying "Abba, Father' (Romans 8).... :)

    Is smoking a sin?

@VictoryinJesus Sorry about your pain which you experienced. Sounds like cigarettes work better for you. You've probably already considered it, but depending on the tar levels of the ones you smoke - whatever they are -, going for really low tar cigarettes could also help you cut down, I guess...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Ziggy in dot pinterest This demure and radiant young woman that is doubtless thrilled with her freshly injected faith based tattoo, will, if the Lord spares us, face a choice years hence as a more mature tattooed woman. Will she take the likely fading as a symbol of the rugged passage of...

    Is smoking a sin?

@VictoryinJesus My 2c would be not to beat yourself up; and think of how Spurgeon the smoker was such a great servant of the Lord. Did you ever try vaping?

    Is smoking a sin?

@VictoryinJesus You could always try vaping, I guess. With vapes you can gradually decrease the amount of nicotine that you put in. Spurgeon smoked and this didn't stop him being a mighty, faithful servant of God. (I don't get the taboos and moralizing approach to smoking...)

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Ziggy Different ppl approach the whole faded thing with different ideas... Some ppl like to do a tattoo pigment touch up after several years to put a bit of strength back into the design. Others prefer to let it fade naturally; kind of like a memory that's still there but imperceptibly...
