Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Ziggy Well, okay! :) So to fine-tune the language a bit more, then: You enjoyed that the artist made you the tattooed woman that you wanted to become, with the inked artwork that pleased you. (I guess finally this is about right... :) ) Great that your father has able to stay with you. I'm...

    A Fist Full of Doubt's

@Ziggy Oh that, instead of doubting, ppl would heed the exhortation of Hebrews 11, which over and over commends Scriptural examples of faith: "By faith...by faith...by faith..." ! :)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Ziggy FYI, I guess this discussion obliquely relates to similar ones we have had; often ear piercing and tattoos go together, if not always with the same clients, then with people of similar skillsets housed under the roof of the same establishment; and just as for a long time now men get their...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Ziggy Okay; I should revise my wording and say: the similar artwork with which you both enjoyed being injected... (better wording? :))

    La Palma Island

@Ziggy Kind of reminiscent of scenes from Revelation, I guess... Like I said, above, let's hope it drives people to their knees and to the Scriptures...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

Hi @OzSpen ; from back a bit: To update, I have now talked to a number of young people with Bible verses tattooed, including both a young man and a young lady, each with their arm / wrist area tattooed with the whole of the wording of John 3.16, a favorite verse indeed, as with Kevin Naigama...

    Please present your thoughts

@OzSpen I thought of Ephesians 4.30 also, showing that One Who can be grieved has the attributes of Personality.

@Ziggy Seems like you and @Paul Christensen 's daughter could compare your artwork....

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

Thanks, @amadeus ; I wonder however how one can from Scripture prove that it is necessarily wrong.

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Helen Thanks for your comments, just now and a while ago. As quoted earlier, It can be just nice if moms like Toni see fit to allow sons to grow up with this simple option. While Toni seems to mention one ear, yet having both done - as you suggest - can be an opted for preference also.

    Late Night Thread...

Hi @Helen When the Americans wanted to oust the President of Syria, someone said: Let's first ask the British what they think... The Foreign and Commonwealth Office in due course replied: You can't do that; he's just had tea with The Queen... :)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

Psalm 40 has a latent bondservant analogy with the (Hebrew) "digged" ears, pointing Messianically to the Perfect Servant.

    Is smoking a sin?

@GodsBeloved11 Oh I agree about respecting others. Interestingly, the preacher Spurgeon smoked. In those days it was more commonplace.

Christ and His church - a comparison of their times

Hi @Naomi25 Umm...When Webster compiled his dictionary, maybe there weren't so many conspiracy theorists around in North America at the time... :)
