Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@runningwings I guess everyone is different and for not a few Christians it kind of hinges on what their first experience of tattooing was. You mentioned your own first experience. Others can have a rather different, first experience. For some Christians it's undoubtedly identified in their...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Abaxvahl I think in North America at least it's among older women that doubts or a lack of confidence about tattoos is probably the strongest, although once it's become part of the culture it's something that is likely done naturally. I saw a quote about the Bible Belt which said that it's most...

    Forsaking all others

Hi @Waiting on him We know Peter was married; there is a reference to his wife's mother. I certainly don't think abandonment of one's spouse is ever entertained; on the contrary.

    A Fist Full of Doubt's

@Mantis I don't drink alcohol at all, but this is simply a preference; I don't see it as a legalistic prohibition.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Abaxvahl I wonder how old the ppl in the pictures which you uploaded were when they got their tattoos done? There was probably a certain stage of life when they did them. In North America, the earrings for young men and women seem to be done in their teens, while the first tattoo is often done...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Mantis So many Christians seem to use their area tattoo parlors and determined to appreciate deriving really good experiences from them, anyway. FHII said: ↑ Acolyte said: ↑ Rita said: ↑

    What is Mariology?

@Abaxvahl I totally disagree because the believer's Great High Priest is passed into the heavens (Hebrews 4.14); He is "the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." (Ephesians 1.22-23).

    A Fist Full of Doubt's

@Mantis The transforming work of God in the believer's life is truly wondrous. :) Did you quit wine, etc., totally? some Christians do; some don't.

    What is Mariology?

The self-authenticating Word needs to be prayerfully ingested by every local church, as led by the Spirit, Who will not teach different doctrines to different people. I don't think we agree on this, @Abaxvahl .
