    Sinless Perfection?

We go through phases in our Christian walk. We see much better AFTER we have been through the phase...hindsight is 20/20 (Fore sight is more 50/50 :) ) So we have an experience with God and are cleansed from all sin!!!! Hooray!! So being rich conceited westerners we assume we are so special and...

    Righteousness

But God has no favourites. This is a lesson we must learn over and over again. He treats those whom He loves HARD! Paul would never defend his status as a son...he took the place of a bond slave. THAT is what makes us sons! :) Most of us on this site are white, rich, and very priviledged...

    Jesus was wrong

Sunday morning sermons, Bible studies, personal devotions, they’re all a waste of time. Why? Because these sorts of activities try to teach us about the peculiar sort of life Jesus called his followers to live. While that may sound like a good and important endeavor, it’s really a waste of time...

    Sinless Perfection?

Over 10 years now!!! The Lord has been teaching me about righteousness in preparation for my next embarking on the walk of an entire sanctification. The Lord told me to learn Hebrew and studying the bible in that language has helped me understand some great things I could never have perceived...

Why you as a Christian are as sinless as God is Holy....

This entire thread is a concoction of middle class Christendom. The idea is more ownership. Now that you have that wife (or husband), that job, that car, that house, that dog, that boat...you can have that Jesus too!!!! It is a completely unsanctified grasp at the promises of "pleasure verses"...

    Sinless Perfection?

That is EXACTLY my testimony...I also walked for 2 periods of entire sanctification the longest being 18 months (or so) as well. Although I asked God to continue and a knife went into my heart causing me great pain so that I walked like a dead man afterwards for about a week.

    Righteousness

Enoch walked with God and he was translated because he pleased God. The name Enoch means to be trained as a child. Basically discipleship. Abel was righteous...Noah was righteous...(he hated the actions of the wicked). God declared them as such. This was at a time before Abraham. I know what...

    Righteousness

The Mosaic law was about holiness not righteousness. The law of righteousness comes from God Himself by revelation of the Spirit. For example...circumcision does not make a person more righteous. Righteousness is in the doing what is right in the eyes of God. Here is an example of righteousness...

    Sinless Perfection?

I gathered that!!! There are others here who walk this way in the freedom of a new life in Christ with Him OUTSIDE the camp. :)

    Convert vs. Disciple

By first offering all those things to God...no longer holding them as your own...even your own life. Seek to be connected to the brethren who have done likewise. Walk in the Spirit...in His power through a surrender of your life. Being connected with the brethren (laying down your life for them...

    Convert vs. Disciple

Disciple: One who has left everything to follow Christ into becoming fit to attain the full stature of Christ here on earth. Convert: One who believes he is saved based on adhering to a belief that he is trusting in Jesus for services to be rendered.

    Sinless Perfection?

Welcome to the forum Hep!!! Very good points! I love that battlefield analogy for Romans 7. I think the bottom of your post was lost....or you forgot to post the C option... Blessings to you!

    Convert vs. Disciple

I agree! Disciples are as rare as hen's teeth. One usually needs to do a worldwide search to find any. Converts are plentiful. Many are called but few are chosen.

    Sinless Perfection?

Heb_10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Thomas doubted because he had not seen Jesus physically resurrected. But after the Spirit was poured out on mankind we have no record of Thomas ever doubting again.

Why you as a Christian are as sinless as God is Holy....

It is not by our own self trust in Christ....but by the receiving of the new nature and dying to the old that we become the righteousness of God in Christ. When we walk as Jesus did then we are an example of the righteousness of God. No pretending... Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law...

    Sinless Perfection?

Hi Mark!!!! I think that it is precisely this lowering of expectation that causes us to not attain to the fulness of our calling. The race is by faith....and we cannot outrun our own faith. So if we think it can't be done, then for us, it can't be. To teach this limitation (lack of a full...

    Sinless Perfection?

Are you referring to the thread that Kidron posted about the law being abolished for Christians. I can take a joke!!! You sided with the most absurd propositions ever put forth on a Christian forum. How can you say you are filled with the Spirit and contradict truth so directly is beyond me...

    Righteousness

The latest offering for your appraisal!!! :) Mat_10:41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
