    The Tyranny of Politeness

This is a massive pathway for Satan, to use the infantalizing of young people as a reason you cannot speak the truth. IF you speak the truth, it will violate what is being called the Tyranny of Politeness. The truth seems rude or offensive and those indoctrinated as being infantlized was...

    A Form of godliness

There are 2 things that stand out to me. Twisted NOT Thought not IS. 1. Some want to read the sentence as if it does not have a negation. If one says he was NOT over my house at 6 PM, it states a negative; it does not state the positive of what time he did come over your house, presuming...

That’s why I put him on ignore a long time ago. Punching the air. That’s a good expression.

    A Form of godliness

That’s a shame. Some struggle with critic of their IDOL.

    A Form of godliness

Not an answer to @face2face question, now is it? The deity of Christ really has nothing to do with the point. Agreed, YHWH is the Creator WHO created but HOW he created is not detailed. One more point, is the word there is not "God" but heavenly being. In the beginning Elohim created heaven...

The error of Biblical Interpretation by "Genre."

Not even a little bit does it demonstrate mutual exclusivity. Not even a little bit. The word Bible means book.Usually, literature is contained in books. So, to say a particular book is not literature is just playing word games. I'll withdraw from your thread now.

The error of Biblical Interpretation by "Genre."

Not sure why you deem these mutually exclusive. It seems you want to deny the book has a genus. Jesus is a man. You say Jesus is not a man but rather a work of the Spirit of God. Again, both apply. They are not mutually exclusive.

    Visited By The Holy Spirit

A remarkable quote from the video is Jordan confessed that he was shocked to realize what he believed. This brilliant man was so head smart that it took a while for him to get passed his mind to discover what laid in his heart of hearts.

    Visited By The Holy Spirit

Jordan Peterson had an amazing encounter with heaven and the Holy Spirit who could not give the gifts because Peterson was not ready to receive it.

    Sabbath Issues

A common technique to rationalize violating the Sabbath is the fallacy of Perfection. Since people do not or cannot always devote every second of that day to being in rest filled, quite, contemplative communion with our Creator, then there is absolutely no restriction on doing whatever the world...

    Sabbath Issues

Seems to me that the Sabbath is the most violated of the 10 Commandments.

    Seventh-day Adventist

You know the words but not the proper application. Do you suppose when Jesus returns, he will do as you do; come on a website to prove or disprove folks beliefs AS the utimate arbiter of reality?

IMO, this is why many rightfully hate Christians who use God's word, not to enlighten, but bludgeon. We are all traveling on our Spiritual journey but are not all at the same point along that journey.

None of what you write is true. You are not grateful but sarcastic. I did not take what you said out of context but quoted you exactly. It's just that you don't like where your Spirit leads you, to say foolish things like you don't care. I know. I know. Yes, it is what you said but not what you...

What? All glory to @Titus and his ability prove or disprove folks beliefs AS IF you are the utimate arbiter of reality? I guess there are big difference in translations.

That’s the difference between us; I care what you think. Hence the series of unanswered questions in post 182.

Yet, you are unable to answer ANY of the questions in post #182.

Would you surrender your own beliefs in the cause of doctrinal unity?

Just out of curiosity, what interests you about the ideal of doctrinal unity even as actual beliefs (are sacrified)? It seems a bit insincere, expressing publicly 'doctrinal unity' but in reality, in one's heart of hearts actually having other beliefs. OR do you suppose one can choose what to...

    make up of people viewpoints

My thoughts exactly. The answers are a set of false alternatives, eliminating other possibilities without explanation or justification. I prefer not to put a number to the aspects of a person as there is no need to do so. And I wonder why the OP thinks it matters. What if we are 7, 17 or 824 or...

    Seventh-day Adventist

It's a great question and could be its own thread. The short answer is that Preparation Day is astronomically determined, not chronologically determined. It's like asking what day of the week is Christmas Eve. Christmas is on the 25th of December but this falls on a different day of the week...
