Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

What translation is that where it says "shepherd" in Psalm 2:9 instead of "break"? I just looked at several translations and they all say "break" instead of "shepherd". The word "break" there is translated from the Hebrew word "rāʿa" (Strong's H7489) and it means just what it says. To break or...

    The 6th seal great tribulation

The abomination of desolation is something that is an abomination to God. Why would God care about the stopping of meaningless future animal sacrifices? Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6...

The Second Death Destroys Man's False Amill Theory

Yeah, some people. You mean you don't repeat the same arguments over and over again (as I do as well) because you love doing that? You do it because you hate it? <smile>

Scripture Revelation That Many Throw Out About the Future 1,000 Years Reign by Christ

May not want to? LOL. I have done something with that many times! Are you kidding me? Do you still not know what I believe? I have said many times that I believe man has free will and must choose to repent and believe or not. Yet, you're acting as if I haven't already said this, despite saying...

Scripture Revelation That Many Throw Out About the Future 1,000 Years Reign by Christ

LOL! Oops. It looks like you didn't bother looking at the Old Testament references that Paul made there because what you're saying does not fit the context of what He referred to there from the Old Testament. Paul was NOT talking about individual election to salvation there. He was NOT...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Read Revelation 19:11-21. The rod of iron is used by Christ at His return to destroy His enemies as He smites them and treads them in the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God after which His enemies all become bird food. The rod of iron is associated with destruction on the day...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

You are ignoring what effect a symbolic rod of iron has. It is associated with BREAKING the heathen (Psalm 2:8-9) and with SMITING them and TREADING them in the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God (Rev 19:15). It is associated with DESTRUCTION. You have your mind on shepherding sheep, but this...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Yes, obviously. That's the one where you said I was supposedly ignoring things. Yeah, that's all. No biggie, right? Because it's offensive and a lie. Do you care about lying or not? I didn't ignore anything, so why is it okay for you to lie and say that I did? You cant help but tell lies...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

In the Premil view wickedness will still exist at that point when Jesus returns, so it seems that your comment supports Amill more than Premill. Plus, it's the new heavens and new earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness" (2 Peter 3:13) and there will be no wickedness in the eternal new heavens and...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I just completely disagree. It's obvious to me that Revelation 19:11-21 describes the future return of Jesus Christ when He will take vengeance on all of His enemies. His ascension is not in view there at all. It has Him coming down from heaven, not going to heaven. It has Him destroying His...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

That's fine. I don't have anything to add, either. It'd be nice to know your thoughts about what I said, but that's up to you. Thanks for the discussion.

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

What is your source for this? What I see in Strong's Lexicon is that the Greek word for lived as "zao" and it is not the same word used in verse 5, which is "anazao". The word "zao" means to live and to be alive and is not a word used to describe someone being resurrected like the word "anazao" is.

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

Jesus did not say the hour is coming, and now is, that all of the dead will be resurrected, so this isn't a valid comparison. Since you see the resurrection of the saved and the resurrection of the lost as two completely separate events, it would have made much more sense for Jesus to say the...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

No, it is not clearly described as a future event. Only in your mind. Certainly not mine. The first resurrection itself is not described as a future event. Having part in the first resurrection is something that occurs in an ongoing basis during the figurative thousand years. What basis do you...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

How does that say that His kingdom will be "of this world"? Do you know what it means to be "of this world"? We're in the world now, but scripture says that we're not of this world (John 17:11-14). You apparently think that His kingdom being of this world means His kingdom means it will be in...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

All of the Premills here are that way but it doesn't stop you from talking to some of them. Why do you talk to any of them if it's all just a waste of time? I'll tell you why I do. It's not for them. It's for the lurkers out there who read these discussions. Those with open minds can see that...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

You are basically saying that all Amills believe Revelation 11:15 is already fulfilled and that is absolutely not true! I certainly do not believe that. Only partial preterist Amills believe that. Don't lump all Amills together like this. That is completely disingenuous and not fair to...
  18. Spiritual Israelite

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

Total nonsense. It absolutely does not. You can make all the claims you want, but you have to back them up. You try to make the rule that we can't use other scripture to back up our claims about Revelation 20, which is utterly ridiculous. Why would we want to? It lines up perfectly with our...

Sorry, but I'm not interested in your lies. Read my post #5 in this thread and learn how to properly interpret John 18:36.
