The Two Witnesses Will Appear in the Next New Moon

As do I. I wonder how many of us sense the veil?

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Not good enough! Not nearly good enough at all. If you cannot state what evidence you WILL accept to consider the proposition valid beyond any reasonable doubt then you are just mentally masturbating. I could present evidence all day and all night and you might demur in accepting it as...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Because you denied that a reference to a Scripture verse WOULD be determinant; only that it could be persuasive. "Could" is potential, speculative. One can speculate anything. For instance, I speculate you will not postulate a criteria that you judge wrong and wrong with absolute conviction and...

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

No defense is necessary since you deny the existence of an acceptance criteria. Said differently, it is not the facts but the absence of morality that dooms the discourse, no conception of right or wrong as an abstract moral principle for the facts to meet or fail.

If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

Yes. You offer no acceptance criteria. You only speculate that after the evidence is presented it could meet your undefined standard. Given your world view of not knowing anything you cannot admit an acceptance criteria to confidently conclude anything. Of course, to appear ‘open minded’ you...

AS IF there is an option to "falling for ideologies." You fool! This is why there is no freedom FROM religion; there is only freedom OF religion. Man requires a world view, a paradigm or system to organize his observations and ideas. There is no escape from the constraints of the human condition.

More nihilism. You stand in epistemological quicksand of speculation. How so? I am defending my property. I am my actions. This comes across as you having knowledge of something. I checked out your Facebook and found this. Say Nothing ≠ ”red stew” where everyone starts Your world philosophy...

2 Months and 1/2 Are Left Until the Two Witnesses of Revelation Appear

I have yet to form any opinion on the subject. It seems very esoteric to me. You see, most young people will hear "Well everyone has to go through the Tribulation anyway" and think, well heck, if I have to go through the tribulation period, I might as well wait until then to repent, Hmmm...

    We Can Trust Our Hearts

John Eldredge writes in Wild at Heart that one of the most destructive myths in all of Christendom is that we cannot trust our own heart. Excerpts from page 121. Too many Christians today are living back in the old covenant. They'd had Jeremiah 17:9 drilled into them and they walk around...
