If atheists get accused of taking verses out of context, how do we know fundamentalists making those accusations aren’t doing the same as well?

The Atheist might be able to explain it better than I can. In short, he creates a Strawman of God's nature, then attacks Christianity for holding ideas that go against the Strawman he created. The Atheist has a God complex and wants YHWH to submit to him rather than the Atheist submit to YHWH...

Friend, these expression are equivalent. Wages are earned. People get the wages they deserve. (Don't quibble over rate. I'm talking about the rate x the number of hours. No one pays that if the person has not worked those hours). One more point; truth is extremist.

Are you OK, IOU? You seem to be losing it, a bit incoherent.

WEF says people have no right to own a car

    Elitism. Equality. Not the same.

You keep pretending to be God, dictating terms to your own Creator. He does love and respect you. So much, he’ll let you deal with the consequences of your choices.

Haters pretend Jesus is ONLY about peace when in reality he is ALSO about complete surrender and submission to God’s Will as an act of our love.

I could be wrong but it seems the standard of proof you hold yourself to is not the same standard of proof you hold Christians to.

I used to think that way when I was an unbeliever. Now is a new life in Christ. It’s not about waiting or yearning for an active life. It’s about being so grateful that one years to serve the risen lord now.

Not believable. I paraphrased the verse without specifically citing it. Again, worse is you cannot confirm me taking the time to provide the verse WOULD definitely make a difference. So, your smokescreen has been seen through.

Well, for the record, I was responding to our friend @Lapidem there, not you. Also, you did say you have to not talk to me anymore. So, there is that. You did ask me to quote the Bible to play your game. You are perfectly capable of doing your own research wadr. Much worse than that is your...

ROFLMAO Among the many translation errors of the KJV is to not use the term murder as to what is prohibited. God is perfectly down with killing the unjust. This is why Christian are for capital punishment but against abortion.

Agreed he has power but that is not the question. The question is why should he care about human suffering when people violate his commands and get the consequences they deserve?

BS. Not one verse in the Bible says God is unjust. If people don't do his Will, they deserve death - plain and simple. You are simply creating a Strawman because you got nothing to support your sick, perverted ideology.

Although highly figurative, it contains all truth and much of it is also literal, such as the 10 Commandments.

I just finished in January reading 4 translations of the Bible. 100’s of times, only a verse or 2. Did you mean to say parts of it or all the books I the NT from beginning to end, 100’s of times?
