    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Good verses there. So...we need to point people to Christ, as indeed Isaiah 53, does, from which you quoted.

Jesus IS God in the flesh!!

@Angelina 1 Timothy 3.16 and John 1.14 are other great verses about the Incarnation of the Son of God.

    Freedom To Sin

Ephesians 2.8-9 shows that works follow faith; they are not undertaken in order supposedly to make the person a believer in the end.
  4. F

    Freedom To Sin

Indeed the Holy Spirit works in believers; as quoted above: Philippians 1.6: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ". Eternal security is very assuring; for which there are many Scriptures.

    Freedom To Sin

We are to rely on the finished work of Christ completely (Hebrews ch.s 9 & 10), and not on some endless quest to try to do more, or be supposedly more holy in order to get there in the end...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

@Mayflower Therefore it's good to concentrate one's mind by God's grace in another direction, right? "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Addy Back a bit you said Whether it's the case of someone tattooed before conversion, or whether the case of a believer seeking to put a faith based tattoo to profitable witness use: giving ppl a hard time because of a tattoo makes little sense...except to those of a legalistic mindset, right?

    Freedom To Sin

@Addy What you say reminds me of Philippians 1.6: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1.6).

    Your favorite Psalm?

Such clear and irrefutable Messianic content!
  12. F

    Freedom To Sin

@Addy What you say reminds me of Psalm 110.3: "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth."
  13. F

    Freedom To Sin

@Addy "All of grace, yes, grace surpassing, Such a portion to bestow, But the love, all knowledge passing, Grace has taught us now to know. Love that bore the stripes and sorrow, Love that suffered on the Tree, Love that shares the bright tomorrow, With the loved ones, you and me."

    Your favorite Psalm?

    Lets Define "Works"

Ephesians 2.1-10 is a great reference point about faith, works and salvation.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Pathfinder7 Back a bit you said: It can indeed be helpful if balanced info about faith based tattoos can inform how they may be a useful tool in witness ministry, right?

Men of science were originally men of God

The Renaissance and modern science came from a time when - as did Bible translators at the time of the Reformation - people went back to the sources instead of the established system telling them what vested interests told them to believe.
