    @Mayflower There are so many conflicting thoughts that ppl can become introspectively absorbed by. But prayerfully concentrating on a chapter such as John 14 or a Psalm like Psalm 46 can be a great blessing indeed.

    Reminds me of the verse: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10.17) In the end these things are spiritually discerned.
