Sharing God's words with fellow Christians is pointless

I suggest you attempt to qualify the listener. Don't throw Pearls before swine. If you are frustrated, maybe that is God's way of telling you he does not want you on this path for his burden is light and his yoke is easy.

    Romans 6:22

Right. He said present tense. Not a claim to deity. He did not say in the past we WAS the chief sinner. But we all know your doctrine is way more important than something as petty as the actual word of God. Heretics. Is that your new favorite word? If anything, you are the heretic because...

    Romans 6:22

A little short of we are unable to sin.

    Romans 6:22

1st, I'm not Johann. 2nd, are you truly holding the most inaccurate Bible translation in English as the standard? 3rd, are you truly pretending "faults" mean something different from sins? 4th, putting aside all your dodging, you did not answer the question of why the Bible says to confess...

    Romans 6:22

I assume you are referring to after his conversion on the road to Damascus. Certainly, Paul confessed to being the chief sinner AND his verb tense is present tense, not past tense. So, there is that.

    Romans 6:22

Agreed. He is making an implied Appeal to Authority, claiming that you lack any authority from men to proclaim what you do. Common tactic among RCC.

    Romans 6:22

I thought this was already covered. The Bible says to confess your sins to one another (fellow believers). Why would this be in Scripture to confess our sins to one another if we did not continue to sin?

Sharing God's words with fellow Christians is pointless

Hmmm. To echp what @marks said, this post implies that you might just be the keeper of genuine knowledge, whose mission is to fix fellow man's error in understanding. There is so much IDOLATRY in Christianity, regarding knowledge in general and doctrines in particular. Fortunately, is not much...

Obama at his best, his true allegience revealed. Even if it's fake news, who talks like this and what do they actually do.

I'd like to watch the whole video. Many times politicians invoke a rhetorical device pretending to make the opponents argument. So, while he said this, it may have been for the purpose of putting these words into his opponents mouth. Not that I trust this anti-christ one little bit. Like Slick...

A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Ouch! Pharisee come lately. It’s not that anyone disagrees with God but the men who make up doctrines. See the difference?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Yes, Genesis IS talking about Creation. A more scientific term might be universe, all that exists, of which God is a part. However, as @APAK tried to explain, God exists outside his Creation also. It's difficult for us material mortals to comprehend an existence that is outside the physical...

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

No. Sorry. You want to take verses that apply to those who do the will of Jesus’ God AS EQUAL to those people who don’t. You’re ridiculous.

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

It's not what Scriptures but the OSAS doctrine you had on your mind. Otherwise, you would have invoked the non-existent OSAS verse.
  14. Wrangler

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

Obviously, the OSAS crowd won't agree with the NOSAS crowd on this matter. Of course, anyone can continue to make sacrifices. The point of Hebrews is that the sacrifices will not be accepted after one is saved, KNOWS the truth and then rejects the truth, rejects their salvation through Christ...

    You were saying?

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

You know that Jesus "never" knowing them is a figure of speech, right? And to recognize that these saved Christians who performed miracles in Jesus name BECAME workers of iniquity after the fact does not change the Holy Spirit sealing them and working through them BEFORE they fell again.
  17. Wrangler

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

LOL Specifically, it means that Jesus sacrifice was undone, which means there is no other sacrifice to save the person from the consequences of their sin.
  18. Wrangler

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

Yes, it is the same thing. It is the EXACT same thing. Consider the absurdity of casting demons out in Jesus name but not being born again. Nonsense. Total nonsense.

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

Well, Millenia is much more than a single lifetime of failure. That human's fail to meet the divine standard is one thing and none of us should be too surprised. The surprising thing is that the Creator of the universe took time and cared enough to find a way, despite our short comings of...

There remains no sacrifice for sins . . .

Normally, I take that position. However, there are synonyms and expressions that mean the same thing. Of course, my take on knowledge in the Bible is not head knowledge but heart knowledge, a transformative experiential moment. Yes, = born again.
