    Who are the 144,000?

Yes. This is called education. Understand the facts. Understand the arguments FOR and AGAINST a proposition BEFORE forming an opinion.

    Who are the 144,000?

Possibilities are not meaningful beyond they exist. And it is not what is meaningful to me but the speaker/author. If it were evident, you’d be able to produce the evidence. While others are fond of reading all kinds of things into text, I tend to refrain.

What is your best argument for the existence of God?

The best place to begin with scientists is their native language of mathematics. One of the most amazing thing about God's Creation is that it is knowable. How do they explain how perfectly mathematics explains and predicts the observable universe? The Periodic Table of Elements. Gravity. Speed...

    Who are the 144,000?

Not sure what is confusing. Try using your words. It is implied in the OP via the use of the definite article 'the.' So, I figured the first level of analysis is to determine whether or not this number refers to the same group. It is such a basic question, it left marks speechless. :jest...

    Who are the 144,000?

I’m not looking to argue. Just trying to get the facts.

    Who are the 144,000?

First, what is the argument the 3 verses are referencing the same group?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Unconscious. The purpose of consciousness is not merely to integrate reality but to also differentiate reality. Not one is not one with one. Antonyms are not synonyms. Light is not one with dark. Right is not one with left or wrong. Good is not one with evil. Dead is not one with the...

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

You must be a mystic, denying the evidence right before your eyes. Sad way to attempt to evade the question of what do you live and stand for.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Not sure what you hope is in this Appeal to Majority?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

No. Desperate reach for what is not true. My source compared the religious to atheists. Yours compared a subset of religious - those who believe in an eternal fiery hell. See the difference?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

True. I don't know all the mythologies. But I do not have to. I know the living God.

A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Wow! At least I was not told off in 12-paragraphs! :vgood: You must have felt pressure to respond. Sadly, you decided to non-responsively reply. I don't understand how anything I wrote could be taken as mean spirited. Confrontational, absolutely. I am absolutely confronting falsehood! There is...

A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Agreed. Knowledge is YOUR enemy for it has become your IDOL. You just ignore the truth. I've posted it several times. Your doctrine denies salvation to fellow JW's. No response ... Cricket ... Cricket ... Cricket

What is your best argument for the existence of God?

The best argument for God's existence is, itself, a False Alternative. Imagine, you are a child by the water's edge, admiring the sun getting close to sunset when suddenly a big fish jumps out of the water right in front of you and disappears into the abyss. In awe, you tell all who will listen...

Was wine non-alcoholic in Jesus's time?

Well, objective is independent of a person or their judgement or their personal feelings. Objective Fact: Mozart was a musical composer. Objective Analysis: Mozart is widely considered one of the greatest classical composers of all time. Subjective Analysis: Let me tell you about how I feel...

Was wine non-alcoholic in Jesus's time?

I am a logical, fact based man. I prefer to start with the facts. And the fact is that there was wine with alcohol in Jesus' day and he drank it. That is all.
