Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Mark 7:9

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

hmmmm....perhaps you were privy to other conversations God had with Adam as they communed?

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

CL...you know there is no obligation however, if you wanna trim young Jim, I've got no objections but while we're speaking trimming, keep that blade well away from young Bernadette!

    Aussie fires....

well, we don't have any fires here in the north although the season has been pretty dry. Some showers over the last couple of weeks to settle some dust and gladden the heart but last night it was torrential most of the night. Lightning cracked and the roar of thunder shook the earth. It woke me...

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

Jesus died for my sins and resurrected for my justification. I look backward in time in faith to what has been done. People who lived from Adam to Jesus looked forward in time in faith to the same event. The many details given to Israel were representations of God's salvation plan, for them...

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exodus 20:4 I suppose your assessment would say the above text is asinine as well.

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

1...Assumptions are tricky aren't they?....like for instance; did Jesus clean his teeth or wipe his backside? hmmmmm, or do we just conclude/assume he didn't because you can't show a specific text stating he did? 2... I would say that the Sabbath is not being put on a pedestal higher than Jesus...

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

you don't!.....because it's not rays that are about his glory.

Does the day of Christ resurrection tell us to worship on Sunday?

If Jesus broke the Sabbath he would be a law breaker. His death therefore would have been none other than for himself and his resurrection would never have taken place and you would still be in your sins as well as having no future to look forward to. It was the religious folk who charged him...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

The wily foe reinterprets the plain straight forward pronouncements of God to suit his own agenda of deception. To what end you might ask? To take down as many as he can in the madness that has infected him. Ezekiel 28:17-19 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty and you...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

Is there a difference?....I think not. Perish, damnation, death....all mean the same thing.

when I am covered in darkness

God's word gives light to the simple Men's words are slippery with false humility, double tonged and built on the fires of hell.

when I am covered in darkness

My experience is that God cuts through the darkness, the blindness, the inability to know what and how to do. At that cross road I have a choice. I made that choice and my conscious journey started. It has been rocky and narrow and lonely much of the time yet not always. It is dispersed with...

Ohhh BJ...you incriminate yourself with your cut and paste. May God open your eyes.

Prophetic Chart from beginning unto the ending, Prophetic studies

It is obvious BJ that when the RC system which you hold in such high esteem is exposed as a spurious system of worship no holds are barred to discredit any view that brings this to light.....even from a distance.

Prophetic Chart from beginning unto the ending, Prophetic studies

The detail is no quick fix Helen. Be patient and build slowly .....but surely. Process each step patiently and don't give up because it's unfamiliar or unheard of. Would we expect less from a God who runs the Cosmos and its inhabitants? He has not done things in secret but revealed his...
