Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Being uncorrupt does not mean ones is uncorruptable. Being clean does not mean one can never get dirty again.

    Romans 11 (verse 22)

IF is a logical condition that means it is possible to proceed in an alternate manner ... where your salvation is not secure, right?

    Miracle At My Church

In 2020, the worship team leader, Daniel, felt called to lead worship elsewhere. Until 1Q2022, there were no more men on the worship team. The lone guy who joined then sang well. In June 2022, during a practice session with the worship committee, he felt 2 pops in his head. Getting a severe...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

I understand you are not going to debate Scripture because you cannot. All you can do is assert your doctrine, cherry pick Scripture and ignore verses and logic that don't fit. Hebrews 10:26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Context. This statement was about defending the gospel of the risen Savior, not OSAS doctrine's time dependent function.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Notice how the OSAS folks just ignore Scripture and logic that doesn't fit with their doctrine?

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

It's so funny how you arbritarily apply your time dependent function. @Michiah-Imla quoted 3 Bible verses. All you do is ignore the meat and go back to your kindergarten doctrine, as he puts it.

    Conversion from WHAT to WHAT?

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Some sort of mysticism? There is no salvation without believing in Christ. Peter believed this before denying Christ. You position is that accepting Jesus as your lord and Savior means nothing, only that your acting along a time dependent funciton. If a person nowadays accepts Jesus as their...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Where do you get this time dependent function from? John 3:16 does not say this.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

There is a verse where Paul commands, not fleshy people, but those who accept Jesus as their lord to take all thoughts in obedience to Christ. There is only one logical reason to say this. He knows those who have been saved by Christ could give into temptation to sin.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Right, but you are changing the reference point from one who is saved and then turns from God to sin. You deny the very topic under conversation. Why does Jesus talk about salt losing its flavor and vines being thrown into the fire?

    "The word was a god"?

An assertion is not proof. I proved you are misappropriating John’s purpose for writing his Gospel. Again, the Scriptural support for the trinity is so weak, trinitarians must rely on more ambiguous verses with full emotional investment, like John 1:1 and ignore explicit verses that undermine...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Where in God’s green Earth do you get the idea that it is logical to sin? Sin is an addiction that overcomes man’s capacity to reason. As Paul said, I don’t do the things I should and do the things I shouldn’t. These are words of one who recognized his addictive actions are not logical.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Not sure what this time dependent function is or where it can from. Peter believed Jesus was God’s Anointed but denied him anyway. You don’t consider that a sin? The problem with OSAS is pivoting on the notion of being saved and ex-post facto declare when they sin again that they were never...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

There you go again with the ex post facto. What relevance does this have? Any and every sin a fleshy person can make.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

No. I think there is confusion between being saved from sanctification. The sinners prayer holds - without Christ. The whole reason Paul write that we have to die daily to self is because every moment we may be tempted to give in to our fleshy nature rather than our spiritual nature. We remain...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

If OSAS is true, then universalism is correct doctrine. You doth rely on false interpretation of archaic translation. Try reading a translation written in your lifetime. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t...

    "The word was a god"?

There are no 3 persons mentioned as God, only the Father, as I said. The weakness of your position is seen in relying on John 1:1, which does not even refer to Jesus but God. Jesus is not mentioned in John’s Gospel until v14. And his Gospel is the most anti-trinitarian of the whole Bible. V...

Is Jesus the End of the Law?

Not sure what the quarrel is to contradict yourself like this. It seems you are holding others to some standard of formal philosophical treatise. A type of repentance will get you saved, you say? To the layman, this translates to repent (in general) and you will be saved. To me, I like the...
