    Daniels 4 Beasts

I have plans to get to revelation, right now I just wish to discuss Dan 2. and work our way up. I plan on discussing dan 7, rev 13, rev 17 and rev 19 when we are all said and done. We can also look up other passages if we want to. Thank you for responding :)

    King James Version Only...?

A word for word is impossible. Without adding words. or phrases. which would make it not a word for word translation. if we actually translated the greek text. the NT would be twice as large as it is now. Look up one of the many expended translations to see.

nope trust is not works. It producuces works. Grace is unmerited. It is a gift. A reward or wage is earned. You work for a reward or wage Grace is given by by the work of another

Grace, Unmerited favor If it is of grace it is no longer of works otherwise, grace is no longer grace. Not by works of righteousness (good deed) which we have done. but by his mercy. If you work to earn something. Your not given mercy, your given a reward. Jesus alone, the cross alone...

Lie? What lie? I just repeated what Jesus said John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” John 6:58 This is the bread which came...

Same old stuff 1. Jesus did not mean what he said. 2. Grace (unmerited favor) must be merited. hence it is not really grace

    Daniels 4 Beasts

Alot of threads here concerning prophecy and end times theories. I put together something a few years ago I think may be interesting, I think it may be a good discussion if we look at the prophecies of Daniel and these gentile kingdoms he prophesied about. Are they just in Daniel? Are they...

I agree whole heatedly when the christ says anyone who eats this bread will never die. And someone comes and says they can still die. They refuse to see what Jesus said

Good luck my friend. John 6: 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. . 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come...

Dude, you can post a million verses. It does not negate that eternal life is forever. And when jesus said you will never die he means it He does not contradict himself You need to start listening to jesus and take him literally.. You want conditional life. Good luck. The jews that they had...
  12. Eternally Grateful

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Good luck with your conditional life I will hold on to the ETERNAL life that I received. You focus is on the wrong word. You need to focus on the word eternal. Eternal life is not some religious thing that can be earned, it is a gift given by God. A person who does not believe is condemned...

Thats because YOU want GRACE to be earned by WORKS and because YOU want the word ETERNAL to mean anything other than ETERNAL. In fact. You preach CONDITIONAL LIFE. Not ETERNAL LIFE If I HAVE eternal life.it means literally I will LIVE FOREVER. according to you I can NEVER have eternal life...
  15. Eternally Grateful

    Secure Eternal Salvation

then its not ETERNAL LIFE, its CONDITIONAL LIFE. And it is NOT OF GRACE, it is OF WORKS. You can spin it all you want my friend. I must take the words by definition by what they mean in every case they are used. Not by what you want to mean by making the words religious terms, which are...

    King James Version Only...?

I grew up using solely the KJV. alot of the memory verses I have memorized are in the KJV. When I was 17 my dad bought me a scofield NKJV. I have used that ever since.. When my mother died I took her KJV as a momento.. I tried reading it a few years ago. I struggled with the wording and the...

the english language in itself is flawed. to try to make a word for word translation from hebrew/greek to english is impossible.

Grace is unmerited favor. if you can lose it, it is not grace. it is called works. You do not understand grace or what it means, Your the one confusing grace with works my friend. eternal (forever) life means living forever. if it can be lost. its NOT eternal life. we would call that...

What did the author of Hebrews say? 22 And according to the law almost all things purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— 26 He then...

well lets see Jesus compared the bread he came to give to the manna he said your fathers ate manna and are dead. he who eats this will live forever. Yet we know that the people who ate this 2000 years agao still died physically? So what else could he be talking about except for spiritual...
