Not just 'liturgy'. The priesthood was changed, utterly changed. What we now have is better than the law. Hebrews 7.19 says so most clearly.

I see in Hebrews 7.12 that the law was changed. I don't see going back and imposing the law's Sabbath-keeping.

We are not communicating. The context includes whether the church is really Israel or not. My conviction is it is not, clearly. If ppl wish to give freewill offerings of more than 10%, then more power to them; but in the church, where are the Levites? Hebrews 7 has the answer.

Well your experience is not the same as that of many others. Even in what you say, it's good to remember that it's the Word that defines our understanding of what God really means, rather than some notion that we think that God has just revealed something new and different to us alone.

Paul is referring to what they heard him say. You seem to be implying some mysterious repository of essential tradition which some ecclesiastical hierarchy possesses as a supposedly essential addition to Scripture. Nope.

Sola Scriptura should be about going by the Word and not tradition. It's the practical way of honouring God's Word that counts, not the way some ppl may have changed the phrase to mean something else.

@Rita I think men with their big fingers are at a disadvantage with the finger swipe gadgets...Maybe you cope fine with them :)... but some of us don't.

We indeed need that same simplicity that was Amos's in going back to the Word of God.
