Here is what it all comes down to—- and you’d better get it right!

Odd rationalization of mirrors. Doesn't Scripture say point blank that no one has seen God?

    The Trinity

Nothing more than a man whose lifeless corpse was acted on by God to fulfill his promise to us. See Acts 3, 17:31.

    Defining Proper Language

I've heard this countless times. Adding the qualifier "spiritually" is not God's word. It makes God's word figurative, which is my point.

    Defining Proper Language

I have no idea how you can possibly think the least precise translation helps in any way. Did Adam: A. Die the day he ate the forbidden fruit. B. Die centuries after eating the forbidden fruit?

    The Trinity

That Jesus died is how you know he is not God.

What verse said got was ever visible to human beings? None.

We strongly disagree on this point and I reject your accusation of hypocrisy out of hand. I wrangle over ideas, not people. Let me give a real life example from this weekend. My stepdaughters treat my wife, their mother, like crap. I don’t take the time to ‘correct’ these adults nor do I think...

    Defining Proper Language

At times. Daily, at times. Other times, I struggle with my ego, pride, sense of self-righteousness. Being crucified with Christ on the cross often seems far too much an honor for me - more than I deserve.

    Defining Proper Language

No. Just ignore the timing of Adam dying. If you don’t grasp post #17, so be it.

    Defining Proper Language

No. It’s figurative use of language if anything is for the reasons given. Much of the Bible is highly figurative. One example is God telling Adam and Eve they will die the day they ate the forbidden fruit. 900 years later, sure enough, they died.

I have no idea where you get this from. When God is in heaven, he is not called Father but on Earth, he is called Son! God said in his own voice, "This is my son, in whom I am well pleased." What appropriate taking on of his surroundings took place then?

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

While “going to heaven” is often euphemistically said to mean "being with God," now that we are onto solid foods we know that our fallen world will also be redeemed and made right for us and with God. 23 But this is how it will happen: the Anointed’s awakening is the firstfruits. It will be...

Yes, and what to the monotheist Jews make of this verse? Only trinitarians assert it is some kind of indication of a plural God while simultaneously disregarding the 10,000 times God is referred to in the singular pronoun. NOTE: The words of Isaiah that no one thought he was claiming to be God...

I am edified on Scripture. Thank you very much! Do you realize that Jesus did not teach us to pray to a trinitarian God?

Not at all. The entire Bible is written by monotheist Jews who reject the trinity to this day. I disagree with imposing trinitarian doctrine onto unitarian text.
