    False Prophets

The trinity is not in the Bible - not the word, not the doctrine. And it goes against Scripture. See 1C. See John 17:3 How did you come to the conclusion the trinity is aligned with the word of God.

Is Jesus a Man That God Selected?

    Appeal to Ad Hominem.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Jesus is certainly NOT the Creator for the Bible says he is the first born of all Creation and that he is the Son of the Creator, who created things FOR and THROUGH his son.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Flashing. God did not screw up. Trinitarian take on unitarian text is the screw up. The only God is Jesus' God. See Rev 1:1

Is Jesus a Man That God Selected?

I'm not JW but a unitarian Christian.

Is Jesus a Man That God Selected?

Sure but how are you reaching that conclusion from the text in question?
  7. Wrangler

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Jesus too was asked invalid or trick questions. He did not fall for them in either. I'm in good company. You put logic in quotes because you cannot simply admit your doctrine goes against logic definition language usage.

Is Jesus a Man That God Selected?

Using standard language usage and keeping 2 COR 1:13, in mind, (there is no hidden meaning in our letters) the inescapable conclusion or take away from the verse below is yes. Based on this verse, if you conclude the answer is no, what reading skills, logic and definitions supports that...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Invalid question no matter how many times you ask it. Words are WHAT’s not WHO’s. He words of the President are an attribute of the President, not another being related but apart from the man. Now, know you don’t like that answer but there it is.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Exactly right on every point! Thanks for the insightful post. I’ve been influenced by @theefaith’s repeated reference to what Jesus founded his church on. Jesus founded his church on the BIG REVEAL of being Gods Anointed. Jesus did NOT found his church on him being God incarnate.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Sorry Charlie. I answered your question. Accept it or not. It’s up to you.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Is there where I say thank you for your opinion? For the record, I don’t think I misinterpreted but took what you said differently than you meant. An example is when my kids would brag about how much fun they had at a place they where forbidden to go. Like you, they want me to focus on how...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

You are confusing facts with opinion. Logic is the non-contradictory identification of truth. It is a tool that humans use, but is not any more human than sand. I'm afraid you are confusing reasoning with morals. God reveals truths & commands to us, not reasoning.

    Evidence To Be Seen

Please take this fine discussion into another thread. This thread is meant to compile scientific evidence of God.

    Why Do You Believe....

Great question. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is alive. I found this to be true. I challenge you to read the Bible every morning for 30 days, opening by a prayer to God in Jesus' name that he open your eyes to what he wants you to see. Doing this changed my life. And I bet, it'd change your...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

There is no such thing as human logic, only logic. Your reply is an Appeal to Ignorance AS IF we have some other means to know something than the processes of our mind. I understand your dilemma. If must be difficult contorting to fit a doctrine that goes against logic, definitions and language...

    Evidence To Be Seen

Agreed. Jesus died, proving he is not God for as you say, God is eternal.

    Evidence To Be Seen

Here is your faith. No evidence to even rationalize calling it a theory. An actual theory requires evidence to support it. Otherwise, anyone can just speculate who something not real causes something we observe. Again, just because the idea of facilitated variation challenges irreducible...

    Evidence To Be Seen

Hmmm. I wonder what it takes to make one consider the implications of a man fulfilling a prophecy some claim pertain to someone else? Regarding specifics, I agree but also keep in mind that lacking specifics is not a disqualifier. Regarding a power greater than man; I am a unitarian...

    Evidence To Be Seen

It's worth pondering the significance of Jesus fulfilling 356 prophecies even if some dispute they apply to him.
