When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

Wrong. That is not at all what Paul said. Remember, John was given visions of heaven and he said he saw the souls of those who were physically dead (Rev 6:9-11, Rev 20:4). He did not say he saw spiritual bodies. A natural body is mortal, but a spiritual body is immortal. Yes, and they will be...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

What does this mean? Christ being the firstfruits is a reference to the fact that He was the first to be resurrected unto bodily immortality. Next in order, according to Paul, are those who are Christ's at His second coming (1 Cor 15:22-23). Acts 26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

You missed the point. Christ's resurrection itself is the first resurrection. The resurrection of those at His coming is a second resurrection according to the order of resurrections that Paul described.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Amen. We need to interpret scripture with scripture. There is no other first bodily resurrection of the dead besides Christ's. So, having part in the first resurrection is only possible by having part in Christ's resurrection which we all do spiritually.

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

That verse refers to great tribulation described in Matthew 24:15-21 which was not global, but rather was local to Judea. That is talking about what happened in 70 AD. This is even more clear in the parallel passage of Luke 21:20-24. Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

Why do you avoid specifically addressing my points and answering my questions? What you're saying contradicts what Jesus said. Please address this. John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they...

Understanding what is the "Abomination of Desolation".

Why did you not mention that the prophecy concerns "Messiah the Prince" as well? He is mentioned in the prophecy, but the prophecy doesn't concern Him? One of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24 that was to be fulfilled within the 70 weeks was "to make reconciliation for iniquity". How can you...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

You said everyone would have spiritual bodies at that point. Where does scripture teach that spiritual bodies are mortal bodies? Nowhere. Paul contrasted the spiritual body with the natural body, which is a mortal body. The body we have now which will die (unless Jesus comes first). The...

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

Associating the two witnesses with the prostitute Babylon is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. This cannot be taken seriously at all.

What are the two witnesses doing with the prostitute?

I disagree. If that was the case, then why is it called "Mystery Babylon"? There's no mystery about Babylon in your interpretation of it. Babylon is the mother of ALL harlots (Rev 17:5) of which Jerusalem was one. Jerusalem is not the mother of all harlots. Sodom and Egypt are two other harlots...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

This is what people say when they have dreamed up a convoluted, incomprehensible doctrine all their own. I can't take you seriously. The truth should be able to be explained. Your inability to explain your belief says it all.

Understanding what is the "Abomination of Desolation".

LOL. Not of the temple buildings, which is what we're talking about here. It's ludicrous to deny that the destruction of the temple long ago has nothing to do with what Jesus prophesied. Absolutely ridiculous. Even the ultrahyperfuturist Douggg acknowledges that the temple being destroyed in 70...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

There isn't one, of course. Premils always have to invent this imaginary third group which contradicts many scriptures. Jesus put all people into two groups. He said "He that is not with me is against me" (Matt 12:30). Every person is either with or against Christ. Saved or lost. That's two...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

Where does Paul indicate that it applies to everyone? Notice that the context is in relation to inheriting the kingdom of God (1 Cor 15:50) and that no mortal flesh and blood can inherit it. So, the context is only in relation to believers there since unbelievers will obviously not inherit the...

Understanding what is the "Abomination of Desolation".

Some of it certainly is. Luke 21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 7 And they asked...

There are 2 tribulation periods, the “first” is to the Jews

I don't agree with your strange doctrine that requires people to go through a number of stages in order to be saved. Your doctrine doesn't allow for someone like the thief on the cross to be saved or anyone who dies before having enough time to go through the supposed stages that one has to go...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

Do you understand that spiritual bodies are immortal? Where do those who number "as the sand of the sea" come from in Revelation 20:7-9 who end up being destroyed by fire that comes down from heaven? You are correct that no one with a mortal body survives Christ's return, but you're missing that...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

Impossible! There is no way in the world that any mortals could survive this: 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

You make the mistake of reading everything in Daniel and Revelation chronologically when not everything in those books is in chronological order. That's not how Apocalyptic writing works. Where is the Ancient of days located when the Son of man comes to Him and is brought before Him? On earth...

When are the dead and living in Christ caught up to the Lord?

You apparently have no understanding of Amillennialism. We do not have the beast and false prophet going into the lake of fire at the first coming, but rather at the second coming. What you are missing is that the book of Revelation has a series of parallels or recapitulations that start with...
