    1 Peter 3:15-16

@Deborah_ Needs to be Biblically sound, right? but the idea that it can supposedly be made to measure by some 'evangelist' saying when you got to stand up or raise your hand and repeat words and sign a so called decision card is frankly mechanistic and even dangerous, because it seems to replace...

Is it a sin to use contraception?

@Deborah_ Thanks. bc = abbreviation for birth control. Anyway this is one reason I guess a lot of ppl would find condoms far less problematic.

Poll: Caffeine, nicotine, vaping: comparable? or rather distinct?

@Rita: I guess it would be unpleasant if ppl "moralized' against you because of coffee and tea 'addiction' which may exist at some level. Poll: Caffeine, nicotine, vaping: comparable? or rather distinct?

I suppose, @Helen there is a distinction between nicotine as as a perceived, needed stimulant and on the other hand as in occasional social smoking. "Having coffee" also has a strongly social aspect, I guess, not necessarily addictive.

Poll: Caffeine, nicotine, vaping: comparable? or rather distinct?

@Josho A number of years ago the American Administration decided - in its neo-colonial way - to put together a plan or blueprint to overthrow the President of Syria. Someone in DC said, Hey, wait a minute; we better ask the British what they think. So someone talked to the Foreign and...

Is it a sin to use contraception?

@Deborah_ So I guess what you are saying that without bc it is a very precise science, so to speak. (While many ppl would say that condoms are far less problematic.)

@Josho You mean, daintily in a china cup with a thin handle, held with the thumb and index finger and with the little finger in the air...?

Poll: Caffeine, nicotine, vaping: comparable? or rather distinct?

@Josho So is there in Australia also a tradition of hostility to tea because of the perceived "Pommie" syndrome?

@Josho So how do you think the above poll results are coming along right now? :)

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@jshiii Thanks... :) BTW, my medical-related comment above, was made in good faith, but not myself being a medical person you would know better than me if it was in fact a reasonable comment...
