    What purpose does it serve?

Not enslaving my grandkids. Our society is so decadent, we kill our own children and those we don't kill, we enslave via the public debt. Since high school, nearly 4 decades ago, it is my over-riding public policy metric. Since then, the debt has gone up by a factor of 6x. It is an exponential...

    1 Peter 2:24 = Hebrews 13:8

Jesus is not God. Jesus is the servant of God. NOTE: God, in his unitarian nature, chose and sent Jesus to suffer, a prophet who God put his words in. See Deuteronomy 18:15-18. The man-is-God thesis is not found in Scripture. It is a 4th century man-made construct. 18 God was at work in all...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

saintiaint is confusing journalism, writing about a current event, with history, writing about the past after transitions have been made to other forms. With respect to Christ, the Great Commission was not to write one hell of a history book. The Great Commission is to spread the Good News of a...

    What purpose does it serve?

Not that I know of in any circles I travel in. Think Venn Diagram. I happen to be more politically active than I am in religious spheres. But we are not all called to do the same thing. Paul wrote about how a foot is still part of the body even though it is not a mouth. Carry on soldier.

    I was robbed

I'm so sorry. My wife was robbed in her car a few years ago. Very scary.

Yea, logical. Like not answering relevant questions from your statements.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

In light of 1 Peter 1:1 7 & Ephesians 1:4 and this, that is a tough argument to make. The Judgment against Pharaoh informs us God 'hardened his heart' on numerous occasions, meaning he was not acting on his own free will but at God's direction. This is a matter of Scripture that is a tough teaching.

    The Case Against the Trinity

You do know there is no distinction between being and person, right? That is a trinitarian construct. Jesus said he was going to his God. That is the only God. Jesus' God is the only God. He is Spirit and his Spirit is holy. There is no 3rd being or person. However, the passion people have is...

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

"Writing about" ≠ History. It takes a while for a big event to transition from a current event into history. Consider the life of Moses, which can be put into roughly 3 categories: 40 years as Eqyptian prince; 40 years in exile; 40 years leading the Israel nation to the promised land. In which...

    some questions

I've said it several times lily. The questions you have are not specific to women. It's kind of like saying Black Lives Matter. Well, yes, All Lives Matter. You think Genesis 2:24, which explicitly applies to men, is not a question or problem men have? If you are making the argument that these...

So, what caused you to follow Christ again? When did you accept him as your personal lord and Savior?

    some questions

I quoted one verse, Genesis 2:24. That's an abundance? Even if so, what is wrong with that? Again, I'm not sure why this is a sexist thing. Seems like there are different conversations going on here. I was talking about the ideal. Is there anything that a women should be discouraged from...

    some questions

What is the concern and why the focus on women? Is the Bible silent on taking care of ones parents and under what conditions to leave them?

It is an answer, just not one you want to accept.

You are not a believer. To quote Hillary, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Seriously? You don't think the Creator of the universe could overcome this difficulty? LOL I can imagine telling a story over and over again. A couple of points: I'd likely tell it slightly differently over time and this is seen in the manuscripts. Second, telling the story over and over again...
