Why do we call the Father, the Creator ..when the Son should have that title also?

Jesus never claimed to be God. Jesus is not a liar.

    The Case Against the Trinity

Great point! I never thought of that.

I guess none of you read the read of the post.

Why do we call the Father, the Creator ..when the Son should have that title also?

I never heard of John 1 before. Seriously, the figurative language does not support what you want it to support. I've posted vids going into great detail. In short, Jesus is the first fruits of a redeemed world. This is the beginning John was writing about, which is not the same beginning...

For free will believers out there

I believe you believe what is not true. So, it may not technically be a lie. A common example is reading words into Scripture that are not there, like 'and his successors' or 'God, the Son.'

    Grace

Agreed. Here are some useful definitions. MERCY: Withholding a negative consequence that is earned. JUSTICE: Getting what is earned. GRACE: Getting a positive consequence that is NOT earned. No one deserves to be saved. It is freely given to us even though we do not deserve it and could never...

    No authority!

It doesn't say the Pope is the head of the church.

    No authority!

This question is loaded with doublespeak, implying Christ is only theoretically head but in practice some other guy is. He be Satan.

Some Are Beyond GOD's Reach, -- Including Chief Justice John Roberts? MUST READ

Right now, his trajectory is not looking very good. I’m not holding my breath.

    No authority!

No. You claim right of succession that is not in Scripture. Christ is the head, not Peter’s descendants.
  11. Wrangler

    No authority!

Right. Christ is the head of the church, not self-proclaimed successors to people who are not the head of the church.

I doubt your ability to discern an exclamation from a revelation.

Why do we call the Father, the Creator ..when the Son should have that title also?

You do realize this is figurative language, right? Beings are not words.

    The Case Against the Trinity

Not to mention the trinity not mentioned in any of the 66 books of the Bible once. The idea is so important, it is not mentioned once!

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Another doublespeak post or Appeal to False Alternative. I get it and reject contradictions.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

No, what makes your viewpoint invalid, in and of itself, is that it is inherently contradictory. Do you realize that which is IN cannot be OUT? (Sure, change reference points, play word games but there it is)

    The Case Against the Trinity

My friend, you simply do not understand what this thread is about. The purpose of this thread is to STRENGTHEN the case against trinitarianism. If you want to debate it, feel free to post in the many other threads.

    The Case Against the Trinity

This is nowhere to be found in scripture - but is found in a flawed half a millennia old corruption. Already trolled in this thread. Already refuted. God, in his unitarian nature certifies the truth of His Son. 7 So there are three testifying witnesses: 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Verse of the day Acts 4:10,12 (The Voice) I want all of you and all of the people of Israel to know this man standing in front of you—obviously in good health—was healed by the authority of Jesus of Nazareth, the Anointed One. This is the same Jesus whom you crucified and whom God raised from...
