For free will believers out there

Acts 13:29-33 says Jesus became the son of God AFTER the resurrection. An exclamation is not a revelation. "My God, that is a beautiful car." Exclamation, not revelation. I know atheists who exclaim 'My God' as they reach the pinnacle of the sex act. Exclamation, not revelation.

No. What does the singular pronoun 'me' signify? See 1C.

    No authority!

I'm not sure how a thread on authority morphed into the Catholic-Protestant debate. I know there is this other guy, theefaith or something, that pushes along the same line you do, reading 'and their successors' into the Scriptural text and things of the like. For me, the verse below is binding...

For free will believers out there

The pernicious lie of the God-man thesis is when it is asserted he is 'fully man.' Then they make an Appeal to Ignorance, we don't know how this is, you just have to accept it. The man-God, who is God incarnate is also fully man. So many mystical contradictions. Ridiculous. It amazes me that...

    God's Favor?

I reject the trinity. ‘God is greater than Jesus’ means Jesus is not God. As said, Jesus was favored by God in that he was given all authority AFTER he sacrificed himself. Sacrifice and obedience is a prerequisite to God’s favor.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

This is the kind of double speak people hate. Compare normal language usage using the Titanic as an example. 'Charlie died to save everyone on the Titanic' is taken to mean no one died because of his heroics. To add the qualifier is to destroy the purpose for which he died. Effective use of...

    No authority!

We all see it, who are not indoctrinated with it.

    No authority!

In thread after thread you insert ‘and their successors’ into the text. I thank God our salvation does not depend on the RCC. So glad, the ministry of Jesus is not limited to that corrupt institution. The more the adversary tightens his grip, the more souls slip through his fingers. God...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I'm not sure I got an answer to those who advocate in the affirmative. IF Jesus died for the world with no exceptions, then universalism is correct, right?

    Why Can't Women Become Priests?

Not reading details into the text. Just basic reading comprehension. To say Jack and Jill went up the hill, means they both did it. The question of greater authority and equality of testimony (beyond going up the hill) is besides the point. My wife and I, together, have helped people. I...

    Why Can't Women Become Priests?

I don't see it as changing the situation at all since it is common to refer to couples as a unit. Point being, Paul referenced Priscilla specifically as someone who had better doctrinal authority than the man (along with her husband).

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

John 3:16 says what we all know; Jesus was begotten, not incarnated.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

Clearly, this thread reveals the true passion of trinitarians, the man-is-God thesis. The Scriptural evidence is so weak, they have to rely on figurative language to suppose it supersedes the overwhelming direct evidence AGAINST trinitarianism and the man-is-God thesis, e.g, Jesus saying God...

    God's Favor?

I'll take that as you conceding the point.

    God's Favor?

Amadeus, I've noticed your posts are so generic as to be unresponsive to the particular point under discussion. People are not looking to find in the written scriptures verses to their own biases or agendas but apply scripture to the problems of living today.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

No! That only works for one of God's children - for no apparent reason. Like lord Jesus means he's God but all the other lord's in the Bible don't. Again, for no apparent reason.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

    You said it well a few posts ago; the trinity is self-contradictory. 1 = 1; 3 = 3; 1 = 3. Mysticism and dualism.

Should I Try And Change Their Minds?

Absolutely not! The way is to live in such a way that people ASK you the secret to that something special about you.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

All God's children sit on God's throne. How does Jesus sit at the right hand of God if he were God? Romans 8:34

One of the very best anti-trinitarian verses in an anti-trinitarian book, written 100% by anti-trinitarians. (A:vi, S: v) 4 “Sh’ma, Yisra’el! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Isra’el! Adonai our God, Adonai is one] Deuteronomy 6:4 (Complete Jewish Bible)
