More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth The business situation of the customer wanting to be tattooed and that of the tattooist is of course distinct, isn't it? this is the case in most business situations.

@charity Hi; has this thread developed in ways you anticipated?

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I see what you mean; but if for example someone has two jobs and is sought after for his or her tattoo artwork, he is in a strong position to accept commissions from particular clients.

Not an aspect we have been discussing; but thank-you for your comment.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@VictoryinJesus Thanks for your 'likes'; as you will also see, there is quite a choice in the possible poll responses, above.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

My mother who is not into films agrees with the positive nature of the Fact and Faith films of 60 years ago. I guess a similar extrapolation can be made about receiving — and doing — tattoo artwork, if this makes any sense?

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

I'm not sure what it is that you are attributing to me; I agree with your statement: Only a born again Christian is sanctified.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I take your sincerely held point; I guess it also begs the question, Would not the many Christian users of parlors appreciate being injected in one where a Christian atmosphere prevails?

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@OzSpen My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also; and I'm sure other conversations have arisen as a result of her willingness to be injected with ink in this design. Striking tattoos there in your...

Ephesians 5.26 also speaks of 'the washing of water by the word'.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Not sure what exactly your comment refers to. The Lord knows who are His, in any case.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I do agree about the distinction and I noted your qualification; in terms of the sheer demand for tattoo services, there may be scope for some artists doing a considerable proportion of faith based tattoo artwork. (I reckon this might be the case, anyway, if you see what I mean?)

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

The scenario you mention shows the person who lives in, is overcome by and dies in sin, was never truly born again in the first place; this is my understanding of Scripture.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Waiting on him It used to be when women started getting tattooed in significant numbers a typical acquisition would be a single, small one. Now there is often a confidently practised tendency for a number of sometimes large ones to be received, isn't there?

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I guess this would include tattooing (I note also your practical qualification). It used to be that a particular demographic of male sailors and bikers got tattooed. Now it would be regarded as a benign widely sought after enhancement for both genders. Hence also Christians wanting...

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Paul reminds us that the Lord knows them that are His. “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (2 Timothy 2.19)

@Mayflower So did you go back to either of them lately, if not for more ink, then to check out their portfolio artwork? It's always interesting to see the artwork.
