Good verse! Have a nice night; and God bless your family.

@VictoryinJesus How blessed it is in simplicity to obey and follow the Lord! :)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@VictoryinJesus Thanks again for your two lovely posts; they are among the best on this thread so far. :)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

PS: @Sabertooth I guess as regards any satisfying profession it's hard to think of one that would be entirely void of an element of idealism (...if this makes sense?)

    Okay thanks...

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Waiting on him PS: What you said is also consistent with one of the poll options, above: "Yes; positive for more Christian men AND women to train and work as tattoo artists ". (...which I think you voted for, also.)

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Exactly. There are also rewards for the faithful, which is of course a different aspect.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

@Waiting on him You're right about the equality aspect; although it can also be looked at from different angles.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Waiting on him Well, I guess, anyway, it's a practical, professional tool for skilled use which she would say has been ongoingly instrumental in making her feel enhanced, and, with her great flair for art, owning one herself could promise her some good measure of professional satisfaction in...

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Interesting question; I do think that the answer to the question about the passage would be found in the words 'good or bad' (2 Corinthians 5.10), which refer to the quality of the service. It's not sin in view there at all, so mercy seat? o_O

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Waiting on him So did she give you any recent indication yet whether she would be glad and ready to receive a tattoo machine / 'gun' to use?

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

The judgment seat of Christ is for believers, not unbelievers, who will be judged at the Great White Throne; if one follows thorough references to the judgment seat of Christ and the Great White Throne respectively, it will show that the contexts are different.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Among the saved and justified by the work of Christ through faith, there is indeed no hierarchy. Faithful believers do receive rewards: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it...

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

PS: @Sabertooth You are right that some of the poll options do refer to women being included in the profession, yes. So your observation was relevant, wasn't it?

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@VictoryinJesus Thank-you for your really good post; you seem always very thoughtful. Thanks for taking a look at the poll; I would point out also that one of the poll options is 'Not sure / rather not say', so you would know if this more or less fits what you are expressing. (Another of the...

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

Thanks to all who voted so far in the poll! NB: If you have not yet voted in the poll, please vote now! :)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth The comment about female tattoo artists to which you responded was really an aside. Thanks for you comment, in any case.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I know what you mean, I think; some ppl's starting point is skepticism; others are from the start strongly motivated for a particular course of action; and I guess that, while there are dedicated tattooees who receive ink, to be a tattoo artist does indeed requite a lot of motivation...
