Why Do You Go/or not go to Church?

As always, Acts 2.41-42 is a great pattern to follow, irrespective of the building.

Why Do You Go/or not go to Church?

Daylight is increasingly an issue for some ppl.

    Biblical Foreknowledge

I think we need to look at the issues through Scripture directly, rather than through logic.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

@Heart2Soul It's almost like that now; except that in North America it's not "required"; more accurately it's rather increasingly "expected" among many young men and (especially) so many young women. It used to be about being manly. Now also, doing it is so widely about being womanly. So not...

    Biblical Foreknowledge

John 6 is a good guide to the balance of Divine Sovereignty with human responsibility; it's even in one verse: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6.37)

So was she on the most recent Ink Masters episodes? (I tried to look for it.)

    PEARL'S PEARLS; encouragement & inspiration.

Reminds me of Ephesians 5.20-33: "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of...

    Love One Another

Good verse! Romans 15.3 says: 'Even Christ pleased not Himself'.

    Love One Another

Ties in with the passage about the new birth in John 3, and with many passages about the power of the Word of God.

Lets's talk about what the Holy Spirit feels like and means to us!!

The main body of the text does not say Paul; so strictly speaking we don't know; although Paul would have been exceptionally qualified to write Hebrews. He was of course the Apostle to the Gentiles.

Why Do You Go/or not go to Church?

It can be a pity if a local church permanently cancels its Sunday evening service. Acts 2.41-42 is a good pattern; it doesn't actually mention meeting times, though...

    "God Moments"

    The Lord graciously preserved you...

He set before you THIS day...blessing OR cursing.

Thoughtful post... We have been going through Ephesians in our local church recently.

...assuming it was Paul who wrote Hebrews... :)

Lets's talk about what the Holy Spirit feels like and means to us!!

Great verses; as per Romans 8, both the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for the believer.

Lets's talk about what the Holy Spirit feels like and means to us!!

He indeed indwells all true believers, as Romans 8 indicates.

Lets's talk about what the Holy Spirit feels like and means to us!!

I think these verses are important to remember also: "...when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive...

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Well, at least you can smile about it! some ppl can be very negative. Fact is, as a conversation-starter in witness a faith based tattoo can be so effective that many Christians today feel it's an opportunity that's too good to miss.

    Well, okay! :)

    Heart talk

Yes, very true. "...if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1.7); "...truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1.3b).
