..whereas with ear piercings the rings can just be removed...(but much harder with the ink, if the person tires of it, of course).

We can be so blessed when we appreciate Scriptural lyrics, can't we? In fact, when the music comes to mind it can often help us remember the God honoring words. :)

Yes, I can see that the permanence of a tattoo is something that you would really be very aware of. Goes to show that ppl do need to be really sure before they ink, right?

I do see 1 Thess. 4, John 14, 1 Cor. 11.26 as referring to an actual, rather than a symbolic event.
