    The beginning and end of Romans speaks of 'the obedience of faith'; 'obedience to the faith'. Obeying the Lord is by grace; it doesn't signify a works righteousness. Being under grace is a wondrous thing, indeed.

    It all goes back to first principles; and in a sense the new birth in John 3 is the spiritual seed plot, so to speak, in contrast with Genesis as the physical seed-plot of the families of the earth.

    For an Epistle such as Ephesians, grace is a pivotal word and concept. :) People can always be profitably encouraged to think doctrinally.
