No one has seen God at any time, John?

I don’t fully agree with what @ScottA said about the trinitarians. I doubt that it will matter to you but I wanted you to know. The Jesus who is a Jewish monotheist isn’t his own God and Father.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Do you understand that trinitarianism teaches that the Son is not the Father? Do you agree with @ScottA (see his post #126 and #133) that trinitarians in some way reject Christ and will weep and gnash their teeth?

No one has seen God at any time, John?

That’s right. The creed of Judaism is what it has always been.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I commented earlier in our conversation that my creed is Jesus’ creed. The creed of Judaism hasn’t changed.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I do understand that. Deuteronomy 18:15, 18. I understand that the Jesus who is a Jewish monotheist isn’t the Jesus who sent you to me.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Then you are saying - even though you have “told me nothing” - that the trinitarians will be weeping and gnashing their teeth unless they repent and believe what you believe. Don’t you think you owe it to them to warn them?

No one has seen God at any time, John?

He hasn’t changed. He is still a Jewish monotheist. Adding to his creed would be changing his creed. Where in scripture do you see him adding to his creed?

No one has seen God at any time, John?

“I told you nothing” (post # 119). Jesus hasn’t rejected his own creed, nor has he surpassed it. He insists upon his creed. A Jesus who doesn’t stand by the creed of Judaism at all times is “another Jesus”.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Thanks. Do you believe that Jesus is the Father?

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Do you say that the trinitarians reject Christ in some way?

    Reason for The Crusades explained

That’s right. How does that make the murdered Christians look in your eyes? I’m willing to be martyred but I’m not hoping to be. Have you read Tertullian? He longed to be martyred - I’m sure he wasn’t the only one who did - but wasn’t.

    Reason for The Crusades explained

The head of the church is Jesus. I think you’ll probably agree that the church should be acting as he acted and acts. How is the church “preventing crimes”?
  13. Matthias

No one has seen God at any time, John?

That’s right. His creed is still the creed of Jewish monotheism and he remains a Jewish monotheist. He hasn’t changed his theology. I believe all of his promises.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I asked you to point out for me where in scripture you believe Jesus rejected the creed that he made his own. That’s not demanding proof of God, nor is it demanding a sign.

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I know that you’ve said that you won’t - part of your “I’ve told you nothing“ psyche - but you really should go back and find out what I’ve written about atheists and those who demand signs.
  16. Matthias

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Have you told anyone anything? I believe him. I’ve told you several times now already that I don’t believe you.
  17. Matthias

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I’m following Jesus and I will persevere to the end.
  18. Matthias

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I take that to be your concession that the trinitarians aren’t going to believe you when you share with them what you shared with me. I still think you should and that you might be able to persuade some of them.
  19. Matthias

No one has seen God at any time, John?

I don’t reject the end. I reject what you are telling me. As I pointed out to you, all scripture is fully compatible with his Jewish monotheism. Here’s what you’ll need to provide in order for me to reconsider: Jesus claimed for himself the creed of Judaism. (You called that “great” and...
