Hi, Ms. @Lady Crosstalk I saw a quote from the Bible Belt which shows just how widespread getting tattoos is. With your counselling experience, I guess that ordinarily - since it's so widespread, you wouldn't find it necessarily problematic in itself? (I should dig up the quote I saw...)

Well, okay; this was your experience. I guess these days it's so widespread that it's a normal development to have them done, for a lot of young men as well as young women.

Philippians 4.8 and Hebrews 12.2 are great aspirations....

I was simply thinking that you must be able to empathize with the urge that young men as well as young women have to pierce their ear(s), like you did.

I guess you're not remotely surprised when today's young men too have the urge to pierce their ears.

PS: @Naomi25 : I think hymn singing in the home can be really good, not only for personal edification, but for family members to get to know Biblical lyrics.
