Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

YW; but it's wasn't said lightly; there's real talent there (just as I'm sure that your daughter would thrive in an artist's studio or a tattoo parlor).

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

Oh yes, that was Hebrews 7; I think I mentioned verses 12 and 19. Sometimes for a wife the husband's many tattoos are all part of the marital 'deal', so to speak. And these days more and more, sometimes the wife's tattoos may be all part of the marital 'deal', so to speak, for the husband...

Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

It's wonderful how the 1 Corinthians 7 pattern of wholesome, spiritual spousal influence can be seen working itself out...! :)

    Hunger and thirst

Amen! it's part of the John 3 new birth, by God's wondrous grace!

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

So has your coworker met your daughter that is into ink? She would probably be interested to meet him, in any case.

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

PS: Presumably he could in theory change some of his existing tattoos to express Christian themes? It's what a lot of ppl do to counter tattoo regret, anyway.

Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

1 Corinthians 11 also speaks of gender within Biblical headship, although gender is only one part among many in the topic of the Lord Jesus as head over all things.

Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

Maybe she's right? Maybe it would be right for your daughter to pursue work as a tattoo artist also? You guys both have a lot of talent... :)

Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

Did you do this? it's great; reminds me of Renoir; slightly fuzzy lines and colours. Maybe Cézanne also...

    The Abomination of Desolation?

We do need to be very open to God's Word.

    How Important Truth?

I do shrink from sensationalism... Although so many sad things do happen...

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

Interesting! Thanks for telling me! I'm getting forgetful; I don't quite remember what verse you said I mentioned to you. (I wonder what your coworker's wife - if he's married - thinks of all the ink...?)

    The Abomination of Desolation?

We should never forget what took the Lord Jesus to the Cross in the first place.

Poll - Tattooing: from male military and biker ethos...to viable witness means for both genders?

Oh okay. (I think you said a Choctaw Scripture quote recently.) So are there many tattoo parlors/working tattoo artists in the Lumbee areas?

    The Abomination of Desolation?

    Solemn verse to remember...

    The Abomination of Desolation?

Such a lot of prophecy in the Psalms...

    The Abomination of Desolation?

I don't see your logic, Sir...

Sorry... :) a topic like this understandably attracts a lot of posts. The Oriental design I got on my arm faded and was not successful. I think for your daughter to go for ink was probably an especially natural development given her Native American (Choctaw, did you say?) heritage.
